I haven't tried growing any high CBDs yet, but will in the fall when I start growing again. That said, I've been spending most of my time reading about them and reviewing strain reports. Unfortunately, there are damn few high CBD auto strains, and fewer strains still that have actually had the ratio of CBD to THC tested and confirmed. Too many companies are reporting "high CBD" but providing no evidence to support that claim. You'll want to find a strain that reports a 1 to 1 ratio of CBD to THC to be effective. So far, I think I'd try the Med Gom 1 by CBD Crew.
As far as I'm concerned, having some high CBD weed around isn't just about the meds. If you have ever gotten "too high" or smoked a strain that makes you anxious and paranoid, then you know how horrid that head space can be and waiting it out is no fun at all. When that happens our best line of defense is to smoke or vape a few tokes of high CBD weed which will help bring you down and help counteract the effects of too much THC.
Unfortunately, most of the CBD strain reports I've read are for photos. Herbies is the only seedbank I've seen so far that has a whole section specifically dedicated to high CBD and medical autoflowers, which makes it easier to research the strains.
