Soft water in that PH range, it would work. I have a ph meter, but not a ppm. I'd like to pick up a hanna before I give it a go, but I'm assuming the ph perfect eliminates the need. I definitely don't want to switch over to hydro, I'm a soil pig. Just wanted to try it.

A Hanna combo is still a great tool to have even with the pH perfect. I use mine everyday
