Extraction Live/Fresh Frozen Rosin

Hey @Autolndi here's some pics of the filter hash/moondust,like i was saying tho,ive smoked it,but now just throw it into jars...in the blue pyrex the pile to the left was a regular/dried batch of extract,on the right is from the live extract this weekend.,,the jar has been building for about a year minus what ive given away or used to cook with..gotta find a way to pull the potency out of it.View attachment 599993 ..

How much of the filter hash did you need to use to get effects? I remember I tried to smoke a small amount once and was put off by the taste and smell, so never tried it again. And have you ever done a secondary eth wash of it? It'd be interesting to see what you'd yield from that.

Ive never tried to rerun it because my thinking is that it got caught in rhe filter the first time( pretty dumb huh) maybe ill try that with a small amount and see what happens...only time i tried it was when i was almost dry/out of stock ,a bowl full will get ya high but it taste really planty( basically like shit if ya wanna put it that way) problem is,it turns in to a "charcoal gray hockey puck" if its not used as a bowl topper ..i dunno ill give it a re-run and post results.if that dont work maybe ill add it to some edibles/butter.

For anyone interested:
I cut down a few of my outdoor CBD branches last night (prematurely), and threw them in the freezer overnight. Just finished pressing some of it and the 'rosin' that came out is very liquidy (I coudn't srape up a dab, dabber went right through the puddles). It's light yellow in colour and looks like good rosin but just can't be collected. I'll try freezing it again or drying it out somehow. Smells like blueberry pancakes when you press the fresh buds lol cool little morning experience. I'll post pics of the rosin later as well

Here are a couple pics of the rosin after I left it to air dry a bit for a few hours. It's much more yellow now and slightly easier to scrape up since it's not completely liquid. Even after freezing it would liquify immediately when the dabber was run through it. I'll try collecting with something more practical for this consistency.

Hey when I pressed half way dried weed like right before the snap, would still bend and I would not scrape it up for 24-48 hours to let dry out longer the better and easier it is to scrape I found. I think I'm gonna be pressing some live rosin off my critical Ogre in a couple days to try it actually live off the plant and see if it's the same as letting it dry some. Honestly letting it dry some I feel like lost some taste but I'll let you know when I try it live too.!
