Brain fog here… most of the time, but Bloodstone is a sort of backcross. It’s Stone Dragon x Dragon’s Blood (Duurty x Black Dragon) .
High percentage of black phenos. A favorite here. Grows similarly to Stone Dragon, but about 5-7 days longer to show sex, so slightly larger with those extra days of veg.
Reminder to get those returned to Stone. Busy of late. A personal and family favorite.

Think houseplant frank….manageable. About 78 days from sprout. If you select the more olive green looking leaves, a better chance for black leaf at maturity. That’s a Stone trick.

No. Looked into it but it was a fortune for shipping so I didn't get it. Gonna have to get some next year. Never got even this far before without everything being wrecked by bugs and composted. Kept the bugs in check this time though

@Mossy, CMD is an Alf#5 pheno isolation. While Anvil is deep black flowers, CMD is Black Leaf and Selected for resistance to BR.
Blackstrap is Anvil x one of Brother Mendel’s offerings. Very N sensitive….deep deep coloration.

Alright @Jerseyphresh1 home from picking up #3 so I got some pics to share lol. All the butterflies are different individuals, there's at least a few dozen just of the Skippers who frequent my little patch. The males are more orange in color and will perch in one spot for hours waiting for a female. The females are the darker, more brown in tone ones, like from my pic I posted last night.

If anyone has suggestions on what to do with the 100lbs of lemon balm pictured above please lmk lol

Usually the San Pedro puts out a single bloom in a season, if it blooms at all. Its been incredibly happy this year apparently.

Its a total mess between the hot/humid/wet we've been having plus being sick. The mulch was riddled with random crabgrass and sedge seeds but I haven't had the energy or a cool enough day to pull any of it yet. Just going out to take pictures was enough to make me need to sit down I got so dizzy. 100+ degrees out and 70% humidity, we've been under basically nonstop heat advisory for weeks.

Not sure what the weird thing with the yellow leaves and the black spikey "flower" things is but pretty sure its not supposed to be there either.

Bobby’s Girl is Alf4 Black Dragon pheno. FD only had males from old seeds, so to save the line, he crossed to White Widow to make Bobby’s Widow.
It’s his answer to a more middle of the road smoke.
