Our water went off completely the other day....hubby was going out ..he says I need a shower...what am I going to do........?

He wasn't impressed when I said bottled water....and a flannel.........

Lucky...the solar shower was full........

I just took a 20 minute hot shower aaahhhhhhhhh sweet.

I drove for 6 hours cuz I don't want to go home... Feels like I don't have one

That really hits home because when my first marriage was on the rocks I drove around aimlessly for hours before the final confrontation and when I left I had no home

Plumbing skills travel. I paid a plumber $208 today to fix another leak. Took him about 25mins total including cleaning up

I am in sticker shock $1835.00 with my senior citizen discount.

I almost fainted when Donald went to unscrew the elbow on the cold water line and it unscrewed from the "T" 2 feet under the house fortunately he was able to dope the end and get it rethreaded into the "T" . His fee just to enter a crawl space is $700. Everything else went according to plan. The stainless steel gas flex line was twice the price since the last time he needed some . Good news is it is all repaired and will outlast me.




@PinkyNotTheBrain I probably could have bought you airfare and a hotel for less I jest, Donald is a good plumber and a fair business man. The price is the going rate where we live.

I just noticed hubby left the scrubby brush out.......and Flea shampoo.............I Think the flea shampoo was from the dogs....but with hubby....nothing surprises me any more..........
