Hey @JP1 ....should keep the gourmet edible mushroom stuff in the same thread as the non gourmet edible mushroom stuff or split into a different thread. Planning on trying different substrate for the shiitake, like rolled cardboard and hardwood sawdust to make a tabletop stump and whatnot....not sure if it goes inline with what it was started as.

No, my dad is in a rehab area of the hospital here and isn't doing so well . He has a condition called Lewy body Dementia and is not functioning cognitively or physically. A not so fun condition. I'm at the hospital with him every day for the majority of the day for the last two weeks.

@Fermented_Fruitz, I have a masters in psych, but do not work in the field. I'm semi retired and make mid century style furniture.

Ok my brain was working for the most part! Thought I remembered u saying u were in the field just didn’t know about the retired part!

Since its a medical related response i will add it in here but just found out from my sister she was chosen by D magazine for their 2023 excellence in nursing award (she is a supervisor in the NICU department) and she is gonna be on the cover of the magazine! Also doing some kinda award dinner but not sure i am invited!

They are good at scratching stuff thats meant to be scratched, but when the zoomies hit, climbing is the issue. They hang upside down from the tops of door frames when chasing each other around. I try to get a pic every time but as soon as I move they drop and bolt because they know better, they just do it anyway.

Not yet, moneys been too tight. Im trying to work it in but there hasnt been enough overtime available to swing it. Was just gonna pay out my vacation to do it but at my job you cant pay anything out till you accumulate 3 weeks, which takes 7 years

Is there a feral cat program?.....we got about 9 of them done for free just by trapping ( they supplied the trap ) and driving them in then picking up the next day....you could just get the trap put them in and take em in.....
