Harvest & Curing Long term storage

So what's the best way to store cannabis for future use the plan is to grow as much as possible to make oil if the worst should happen the worse being my partner being diagnosed with cancer unfortunately it runs on both sides of her family and goes back generation's

I have stopped smoking weed due to work we get random drug tests so it's not worth the risk so with me not smoking it doesn't make sense me growing unless I can store it long term

But I enjoy growing and don't want to stop it calms me and it's a great hobby

Dry and cure well to ~60% humidity then vacuum seal it and throw it in the freezer. It will last for years. The other thing to do would be to press it into rosin and store that in silicon containers vacuum sealed placed into the freezer. You would be able to store much more in the same freezer space.

Cheers man thanks for the quick reply was looking online and a few site said long term freezing causes the weed to lose potency so thought I would ask on here never thought about making rosin thanks for the advice
