they are about $5 more than a 1212 and put out light more like the 1818. Cobkits sells them. So more photons. Yes 1212's would work but I'd go with 6 to match/exceed the output of the CXM22

U got that right..I rather go then with citizen.. Thank you a lot!!! i was thinking keep my 3070 200w diy ,sell chinese led, and my 2530 cree diy led, coz these three are making too much heat in my 1x1m tent.. Right now i have 32c temp and I'm going crazy!!

Those are the temps I am experiencing as well, need good ventilation to sort that out dont think changing from one cob to the next will change things up too much you are working with about .5mx.5m more than me as well so bro, rather try sorting out your airflow than changing up your lights, considering you already have cobs, and cree's at that.
Also, if you running 200w Cree 3070 in a 1mx1m you should have more than enough light just from that unit alone. why not take out the other two lights and go only with the 3070.

yes, that will give you 50-55 watts per cob. They must be wired in series on this driver
For sure! Or upgrade the 2530 light, the newer chips are much more powerful, and more efficient, them run them both dimmed a bit. You'd have great coverage good efficiency!

I'm no expert (1st grow currently, just started pre-flower)
@CoviklaFlaire what is your budget like
@pop22 do you not think spending a bit more coin on a good air flow system be more beneficial to this growing space? 200w is more than sufficient to grow some pretty dank weed in a 1mx1m area - looking at his first grow journal I would think airflow would be a better option?
especially if he is perhaps on a budget?
Walter your right! I'm enthusiastic about COB based lighting and didn't look close enough at his posts.
4 cobs in that size tent should provide for an excellent grow. As someone new, it would be a good place to start. And if you have a 3070 based light, stick with that rather than spend more more. You need to spend your time learning how to grow before you worry about how powerful your lights are. Look at Big Smo's 210 watt grow in a 4'x4' space, amazing! You should be able to do that in your 1m. tent with some experience.

Finally someone with my problems!! Whole led adventure was for lowering my tent temps with HPS. although I had cool tube and my temps were fine, but because my outtake was part of cooltube, I had a beam of light at the end of my tube...So that was pretty shitty for stealth growing..I have prima klima 125 extractor but I think main problem is my filter before I had some big prima klima carbon filter(480cmf) with my extractor and I know when i put extractor on max my tent would be completely sucked in ,negative pressure, now it just a slight suking in tent.. But I don't have money for buying new one, matter of fact I have but I don't know will I grow again coz I will lose my grow room soon.. Now I have some smaller carbon filter (400cfm) And I think it is chocking point.. Girls dont smell for now, but they are in 7th week, so.. I don't know, Im affraid if I take out two lights my coverage would suffer, And I was really eager to see what 550w could do.. Plus I have last two runs very shitty yield (anything below 50g per plant is BiG faIl to Me) so I'm affraid if I pull some leds out, yield would suffer..Only good thing is there is going to be bad weather on the weekend.. I really goot feling that if I put 5 chinese leds like I have It wouldnt be this hot..

That 2530 is bought diy from some guy named dion from ICM , and I think that I would more profit if I sell that and my chinese light, than I have money for new light, if I up grade 2530 than I loose too much money, plus This is maybe my last grow..Or I can do one more, because I cant grow in current place anymore..
@pop22 part of buying three lights was more for coverage that light light light...First I had chinese, then I bought autocob like led, After some bad luck situations I end again on chinese led.. Then I bought 2530 but I wasnt satisfied with coverage, so I bought parts for 200w 3070... And that i that.. Not more more more.. It was more coverage,then more more..
