Outdoor Magic Dragons - Late UK Greenhouse Grow

Mossy,
No blame on your part being implied, I was just stating my observation.
I sprouted out 4 to try out. The took off very quickly and had a very rapid growth
At 2 weeks above the ground, the temps here went crazy and my box hit 93f/34c during the day and only dropped to 84f/28c at night.
All four severely wilted after 3 days of that, one of them bounced back but was a male.
I am not sure how many varieties would have done well in that temp but I assumed it was the heavy indica dominance of the plants I got.
I say that because the leaves were very round and fluffy in appearance, I was really excited by how they looked, so chalked it up to too much heat.
I had some sativa dominant onyx that were in the same box, same age that made it through the heat.
I am still new to growing so my conclusion may be rooted in correlation rather than causation.
I am eagerly waiting for cooler weather to try them again as I really want to try them out!
I will let you know how that grow goes.

Totally why I shut down the indoor for the Summer to hard to keep the temps down to a reasonable level. I find the high temps cause the roots to go brown, the plant wilts wicked and down they go. I am hoping this year to install a water chiller and pump and a second refridgerator to try and keep the tank temperature down below 75 degrees F. I have one apartment sized fridge that I store my seeds in and it gets stressed when the indoor temperature goes above 95 degrees. I am hoping to find a commercial cooling compressor that I can incorporate or a straight ahead water chiller. If I can't find either reasonably then I will just get another fridge and give it a fresh air inlet from outside and run a cooling coil through it. Until I get this set up I will be closing my indoor operation down for the Summer.

By the way I grew about 70 Magic Dragons last year with very good success. the type has no problems except that several medical users complained it was a little too strong for them.

When you take on a new medical user sometimes they find the pot way too strong. that is why I grow BC Big Bud. I think it is way crappy but newbies think it is just right . All you wicked seasoned stoners would have no problem with it of course.

Interesting fact I forgot to say about the short plant out of the 3 (and also take a pic off) is that when she germinated she grew up, then done a full circle before growing upright again, when I re-potted I burried the circle, cant wait to dig that one up and have a look at the root systen
