Received today.

A high quality product with well designed "how to use" instructions.

The new filter looks to be about two quarts. It looks like a well built water hash bag.

Observations:

With tincture setting = 4 hours.

Used two cups of glycerin + lecithin. About 30 grams or more of bud--seems it is low thc. Instruction say--not to grind. So, I just drop buds in the unit and cut big ones down.

The unit turns on and has a revolving series of led lights on top.

Here is what I noticed--as it heated up something was evaporating--vapor coming out the side--smells like the bud.

Then it appears that the mixer cycles on and off--about every 10 or 15 minutes.

Is this correct operation.

I do recall that night not so long ago. Like last week. You had to log out because your dancing fingers, across the keyboard, became fatigued----:Sharing One:. That was a fun night.

Welcome to the club Smithiano! That process in the beginning is it decarbing the bud my friend. It does it automatically. Making a fresh batch of Canna Infused Olive Oil for daytime meds. I have 3 different size micron filters that I use with the filter that came with it. I use their filter after I've strained with mine 3 times and then thru the cheesecloth... With that process I've managed to get nearly 98% of the plant matter out (when using trim, haven't used bud yet) since you can't shut the stirring off...

How'd your Tinc come out bro? Is it nice? Even with low THC as you say...?

Rebel it is a neat machine. Had to turn it off after three hours because of noise level. No problem for me but you know who sleeps early.

Ran it again for an hour next day. BTY--the new filter bag is a 90. Not too bad at all.

Used glycerin and is it ever so sweet--pucker sweet. However--easier to go down.

Quality wise--about a C-. Bud was sativa and is weak. It was thick, of course, and the clean up was a snap. Still testing the batch. Will be great with an indica and a high high quality sativa. On an empty tummy low grade high--full tummy--not much. Next batch will improve.


So many options.

yeah it is noisy which, dammit if I could figure a way, I'd love to disengage or remove the blender part... I love the machine but that's the only thing that I'd change. I don't see why it needs to blend. I don't know how people get clear oils with this machine. I've seen the testimonials (unless they are rubbish lies) about people getting clear oil. There's no feckin' way if you ask me!
