I want to start off with saying thank you to @Marshydro and AFN for putting on the MarsHydro Black Friday contest where I picked up this awesome new FC-E 4800 LED light. Im excited to grow some beans from Jean-O Genetics @Jean-O.

Ill be growing Where's My Dog in a 5 gal Rain Science bag of peat soil mix and with General Hydro nuites. The bean description had me, "This cross has Chemdoggin, Blue Cheese, Strawberry Kush, Pineapple Express, and Bubblegum in its lineage. It seems to work great for my daytime pain management and also good for my anxiety. It gives a pretty heavy stony head buzz. Seed to harvest window is 80 to 90 days. Flavor and aroma's are fruity, gassy, and floral. She also has generous yields."

Ill also be growing Canna Coco solo cups of Jean-O What's My Name and another couple solo cups of the Super Sativa Seed Club, auto Sweet Bourbon Kush. The SSSC will be grown as a personal light comparison between the MarsHydro FC-E 4800 and the @Les @HLG Horticulture Light Group 300L R-Spec.

I bought the HLG light just before winning the FC-E so i decided to use the HLG in a solo cup dedicated tent and the FC-E in my bigger pot grows. Just for shits and giggles i figured why not a side by side.

There's the general intro and now on to the show.

With winning the FC-E i had to figure out how to squeeze this thing into my current tent which is a 32"x32". Long story short i had to buy a new tent but because my space is limited, i had to modify the new tent. I used a pipe cutter to shorten up the legs by a few inches in each direction.

I like to spin my plants to get even light, fan exposure and to trim so i built a lazy suzen to sit the plant tray onto. I also picked up a new drip tray but i had to install a drain spigot so i can get rid of runoff easily. Added a spacer that fits perfectly inside and will keep the pot out of the runoff. The only downside is the pot is now up about 3"-4".

The Sweet Bourbons will eventually be on an auto watered drip through this little RainPoint wifi capable irrigation unit. I will have to mess around with it to get a schedule down. Ill hand water for the first couple weeks.

nice setup you have made the tent looks to still fit nicely on the frame  had to do the same thing myself before

It didnt take much to trim and make it fit. I had to cut it 4inch shorter and 2inches thinner. The light just barely fits in the space so the extra fabric works and its convenient having the dimmer switch. Likewise with the HLG. Its wedged in there and kind of bulges out the side of 2x2 tent.

Soaking beans..... and damn Jean-O. Those are some huge beans.

Two for two, both girls popped today but havent unfolded there leaves yet. Ive had issues with germ in the past but since i started using a heating pad, i havent had any issues beyond my own impatience. I count tomorrow as day one once they unfold.

Where's My Dog - Day 12
Hulking out of her stem and pushing out new leaves. Still on track to be topped in the next couple days. I think I will top above the 4th and strip out the first to give me 6 mains. I have been topping at the 5th and stripping the first for 8 mains but I feel like I could have had denser buds if I condense a little and do a bit more trimming of the lower sucker branches.

Plain rain water pH to 6.1/6.3, EC 0.0

What's My Name - Day 12
Another mini Hulk busting out of her stem. Doing well and only a little behind the 5 gal. I have plenty of head room in this tent so I will let her go and just pinch the upper stem to keep her compact.

Watering to runoff every other day at pH5.8/6.0 @ EC 0.4
