Ok guys i got a real SPECIAL treat for yall
Mason Jar BHO
i found this on youtube and decided to do a little write up on it...
It is a method that is alot more safe then using home made tubes and stuff like that.
I decided to make LIVE RESIN BHO with the Main from The Blue Treacle ( BB X Sweet Tooth)
I let the bud dry briefly overnight in a brown paper bag.

ok after chopping the bud up i place it in a mason jar with holes punched out in the lid to allow pressure to not build up.

Use at least 5X Butane.
Vector is the Preferred Choice but i had to settle for this

Take everything OUTSIDE or in a detached area from your house as Butane Vapors ARE HARMFUL and VERY FLAMMABLE! So NO SMOKING OR Electricity/sparks is ESSENTIAL!

Im using a back patio with screen door open and a fan blowing behind me toward the screen door

i then place the nozzle in one of the holes like so

Then press down and "blast" the butane into the jar with your material until it covers your material.

Like so

then place 2 coffee filters over your jar and screw the lids on the jars. unbleached coffee filters are preferred.

I let it sit until the boiling stops and then turn the jar over and pour into the collection dish

i then get my bigger PYREX dish and put boiling water into it and place the collection PYREX dish into the larger dish and allow it to evaporate

When it is pretty much all evaporated i then collect the BHO into one area while "whipping" it to allow the trapped butane bubbles to pop. since i dont have a vacuum purge chamber let it sit in hot water for about an hr whipping it occasionally to heat purge it

The dark spots in it are from the run of LSD-25 i just got done doing

I will heat purge this further tomorrow with pics
This is only 1 run. i plan on doing 1-2 more on this batch of Bud​

ok heat purge finished.... i used a fondue pot, parchment paper, lazer thermometer and some weight to hold down the parchment paper in the pot.

i then place the material on the parchment paper and allow it to melt and bubble off the butane vapors that were still in there after the last step.

I then whip it to pop all the bubbles and let it bubble up again. I continue this untill it stops bubbling. it takes a while so make sure you smoke before doing all this because you need to keep a cloe eye on the temps. I didnt allow my temp to exceed 225*F

Ok this step was supposed to be posted before the last step( heat purge)
Fill your jar with your material as shown

Punch multiple air holes in lid to allow pressure to escape!

Make sure to use AT LEAST 5X Butane

now take all your stuff OUTSIDE!

Now that your outside you can begin "Blasting" your butane into the jar

Keep blasting the butane until it covers your material.
I did a little too much

I let mine sit for a while while SWIRLING it around to agitate the material to encourage the breaking of Trichs from the material. The longer you let it sit the more impurities you will collect.

Now screw your cap on top of the 2 preferably unbleached coffee filters

Turn your jar over and pour into your PYREX Evap/collection dish which you then set in a bigger PYREX dish with HOT water to speed evaporation
