MC 2.0 doses?

Unless Greenleaf assures us from results of actual product life-time testing done with diluted MC, I doubt a product formulated to be stable as a dry powder will have long-term stability (weeks, months, longer?) as a concentrated solution. Chelation and sensitive nutes will presumably decay faster in water, particularly when the product lacks additives or otherwise is not stabilized for long-term dilution.
They are the ones who suggested it. I just did 400g in 2 liters of water. Don't plan on using it for a full day, if you do this . It made a head on it, like a beer. That is probably why they suggest 50g per liter. I started by adding 1 liter of water to the 400g of powder and it made an almost Concrete type foam on top. I was just trying to mix it up and see what the consistency was and how well it diluted. I will not make more than this at once. 400g with 2 liters is probably not enough water, but I will let it sit overnight and see how it looks. The chunks are dissolved, but will the foam go away? This rate is much higher than they said to use. I figure I will just dilute til I find the right mix, if need be. It is not thick, but I don't like having so much foam when mixing.

I let the mix sit overnight and it obviously showed a separation on the bottom of the container. I was smart and used a clear one to see. Some of it solidified into ice looking chunks. Now I know why they day to use 50g per liter. They said I could try to make it stronger. However, it seems like it would be beneficial to dilute it more to see if the Calcium will fully dissolve. It seemed like after I mixed up the powder directly into the water that once it fully dissolved it stayed that way. The Concentrated liquid might be more of a pain in the ass to keep mixed properly than the powder? I still can dilute it more. I used more than they suggested on purpose. To keep diluting until we find a good mix/ratio. I used 400g. At their measurements, that would be 8 litres of water. I will try 50g at 1 liter and let you guys know how it mixed up.

Made a batch of 50g and 1 liter Concentrate. It mixed much faster and better. However, it still has calcium carbonate falling to the bottom. It is like sand looking in the container. I will let it sit overnight. Maybe it will dissolve better. I will just go buy a few more 3 gal jugs, that way using the powder isn't a daily event. Making the Concentrated liquid is probably more of a pain in the ass. Maybe @Greenleaf Nutrients will hook me up with another sample for using my sample to make Concentrate. I feel like it is kind of a waste of time and doesn't mix right. There are a lot of white chunks in the new 2.0 powder. However, they will dissolve in the appropriate amount of water. Making the Concentrated liquid with more than 50g per liter is NOT SUGGESTED!

I was also sad. I wasted 100 grams of my 2??g sample & felt like it was kind of a waste of time and didn't mix right.
I like that 100g per 2liter bottle. How many teaspoons would that be per gallon to equal approximately 1g?
Interesting OLD FORMULA GreenleafNutrients said 1 Gallon might be a threshold. If you are mixing less you can do like 100grams per Liter concentrate mix. Then 10ml = 1g dosage. so double for the new formula

How and for how long would you recommend to store the 100g/L concentrate?

no time limit

So according to the instructions on the bag, for late veg and early bloom it would be 5 grams per gallon or one scoop per 4 gallons. I just weighed one scoop and it was just over 30 grams. That’s not even close lol. I really do want this stuff to work as described but man is there a lot of inconsistency here. I mix four gallons at a time and (if going by weight) found that 3 teaspoons would land you at the 20 recommended grams for the 4 gallons.

So it is early on during the version 1 vs 2 experiment. Too early to tell anything, both about the same size. I will be making a new jug of 2 soon. I will try using less CMP this time. The version 2 is stronger, so I will try to reduce the Additiives rather the version 2. We will know more in a week, but the version 2 is fine so far. I just don't like the white chunks when you mix it.

damn that is pretty messed up...I was going to grab some too becuase of the cost and it seems to work i guess ,maybe the owners will chime in or something.\

If you use a PPM/EC meter and listen to your plants you can just feed by reading your plants. I’ve always taken any nutrient manufacturer recommendations with a big grain of salt. Hell, AN, TechnaFlora, and GH, I rarely get over 25% of their recommended dosages. Listen to your plants, not a chart.

Funny I find this mixes better in my water and doesn’t separate or leave a film. Also find it to hold ph better
