I've been waiting to get a few things out of the way before making a new thread and although one of those things should have been getting over the plague my daughter gave me I'm not expecting to see my health back for a while so here we go.

note: This will be a revolving garden so that I don't have to make a bunch of new posts every time I want to update.

In my tent currently are 1 X Black Stone, 2 X Moonstone as well as 3 X Blurp that I'm still deciding how to utilize. I have recently purchased a new RO system, but it came with a 1/2" feed splitter and I need a 3/8 so I'm going to look around for one and get it(Lowes was no joy as per usual). Also I have standardized my TLO recipe as well as my layering/spiking. I make the soil 20 gallons at a time now and maintain two containers, one that was recently re-amended and recycled, and the other is 90+ days old at this point and actually it's getting pretty low, but we won't worry about that for now. Ingredients list below.

Soil recipe

Base of 50/50 composted cow manure to fresh EWC
Perlite at 1 part per 2 parts of soil
Blood meal
Bone meal
Rock Phosphate
Dolomite lime
alfalfa meal
granular humic acid
oyster shell
crab shell
azomite
Roots Naturally Endo Myco
Bokashi
Fish Emulsion

Layers

Blood meal, EWC, High N Bat Guano, oyster shell

Spikes

Jobes Organics container spikes(3-5-6)

STELLAR BROTHER!! I cant wait till you get some harvests going with the revolving grows so youlll be able to try maaaany strains and flavors too.thats exactly what i do 95% of the time till every few months I tear it down for a solid cleaning after roughly three full harvests keeping it as clean as I can.damn thats killer, glad to see ya go that route too!!its the way most any true med grower will do.always cutting one er two and in three various stages.LOL!super killer!!

imho I would have used different spikes.made my own actually and you have most (if not all)of the materials that youll need.heck you could still crush them Jobes up and mix in your own additions and base it on that and prolly do better.but either way bro MAX REP bro you deserve it!:Sharing One:

I hear ya man, perpetual is the way to go for a smaller medical grow, more variety, more reliable supply, and more chance to find that one strain that will help you the most. It's more work, but over the last few months I've really managed to dial everything in to where I'm just adding water and a weekly tea, so I can afford a little extra work now. I'm sure I'll move to making my own spikes later on, but these were available locally so figured I'd give them a try and so far they've been helpful. I know what you mean though, we try to move away from all ready made products as best we can so we can fine tune everything, and I'll get there! Funny story while I got you reading, I made some cookies and cream medibles the other day, and decided to try two last night to try and get a good night's rest. Well, bedtime was 9:30 last night because I lost about 90% motor function about 2 hours in!!! I slept like the dead though so that was good, lol!

I would check out an ace or pace type hardware store for adapter's for your ro unit. they are more helpful than the big store's imho

Great set up medi, i don't have the resources to go organic just yet but i plan to by next summer.

How often will you harvest?

Looks like a strong recipe bro. Im trying to get dialed in on my mix. Quick question, so no peat moss or coco coir added? Just cow manure and ewc with perlite and amendments? I might have to try this one in the future.:Sharing One:

That's good advice man thanks. Ultimately I ended up thinking my way around it as I found out that if I pulled from a different point in the feed it switched to 1/2". After a lot of hours, frustration, and bad language my new RO is installed!!!

I'm sure a little peat/coir gets in with my castings since that's what my wormies live in, but I don't add that separately no, I've never had any issues with drainage, and depending on where you get your coir it could have a lot of residual salts so I just try to keep it simple.

Thanks man! I hear you on the resources it can be a lot to buy up front(unless you buy your TLO completed) but it's worth it whenever you can swing it. The last three harvests have been around 3 weeks apart, but I'm going to have a bit of a gap on this next run, but I'm trying to get to a harvest every 2-3 weeks to build up my supply and start moving toward my next goal of 6 month+ cures :-)

well loss of motor function and blurred faces are typically what I strive for each evening LOL! I hea ya sleeping like the dead when you often dont is a nice switch from the norm that fer sure LOL!!Awesome!!

Yesterday was a big day!! The two moonstones came up, I finished installing the RO system, and the Bluestone harvest finished drying and got moved into my Cvault for curing. It came in at 24g which is quite nice as far as I'm concerned. It was a reg auto so I started it in a little solo sized pot and tranplanted it, also it was an off the cuff grow that I didn't really keep a tight grip on so it's all a blessing really. I opted for just one cookie last night and didn't sleep as well, but then I didn't have to crawl into bed either, I'm going to have to figure out a balance.
