Guys sorry to jump in but your on the topic and I want to know is the benefit of using RO water worth it? Im at .4 ec tap water. Cleaner water will just be cleaner, or the plant actually grows better? Thanks in advance.

The benefit is you know whats in your water...almost nothing! I have well water. I had a great grow for my first DWC. Then something changed, I couldn't grow shit in soil or hydro. It drove me nuts for months till I finally figured out my water had changed and was killing my plants! IMO an RO unit is worth the money!

You need some space to store stuff, I have a little 3 shelf tool cabinet I store mine in for ease more than anything. As far as mixing it, I just make batches into my 18 gallon Tupperware container which stores in the same closet my tent as well as my worm farm are in. I'd say just hold what you got, eventually you might want to take something else on and you'll be ready, ambitious, and probably in a better position to take on the challenge!!

DITO more space is needed.. I need to make some thats it!!
Very motivational even if I am high and stuck with man flu.. I am sure this thread will make me do it.. one day..

Week 1 Update

I lost a Moonstone shortly after it came up, so I've got:

1 X Moonstone(Day 12)
1 X Blackstone(Day 85)
3 X Blurp(Day 8)

The Blackstone is coming along well and should be done soon, I'm just waiting for it to amber up quite a bit so I can use it as a sleep med. I'm noticing with the Bluestone I've been testing out that it has a very biphasic quality, at small doses it's got a motivating quality and at high doses it becomes heavily sedating. What an incredible medicine it is too, better than anything I've tried to date. Very exciting to find something that works well for both inflammation and neuropathic pain. The quality of my sleep has gone up considerably of late.

I'm considering selecting a mother from the Blurp to do a clone run with, either that or I'll cross it with something, maybe an auto. I'm going to probably start a couple more beans in a couple of weeks, maybe some more Bluestones but not sure yet. That's about all I have for the time being, hopefully all my posts will be this uneventful
