Speaking of study, I'm currently reading "Teaming with Microbes" by Jeff Lowenfels & Wayne Lewis

Excellent choice! That is one of my favorites and, my opinion, should be required reading for organic growers.

Thanks man, I guess I have my reading materials for 2015, lol!! I hear you on being off the clock to to speak, I'm going to try to keep a mixture in my tent so I don't get grow/smoke fatigue so to speak.

As I read it I'm really starting to agree with you, some of it you learn from The Rev's book, and others, but it goes a lot deeper into everything, like the activity in the rhizosphere as an example. I'm finding it fascinating, and I'm sure my grows will improve from the knowledge. It's so incredible how many avenues of entertainment there are in this hobby, the friendships, the learning, planning, experimenting. Good stuff :-)

Just a quick update, I've fallen off the wagon again with posting but being gone for a week has made me greedy with the time I get with my family. Anyway, I've got two of the three Blurp transplanted and the third one should be ready this weekend. The Moonstone I've got going is looking really good and healthy, and with a little training she's starting to give a nice outward stretch. The Cheese Candy has been a slow starter but I think she's finally starting to gain momentum. This past weekend I took my soil recycle bin that had been covered a couple of inches high with some crazy looking fuzz about 4 weeks ago and I used it to replenish my depleted grow ready TLO tub which I then used to transplant the Blurp plants. When I found it with that fuzz I just added Bokashi and some Roots Naturally Endo Myco and sealed it back up. When I got to it this past weekend it had the most incredible smell of rich soil I'd possibly ever smelled outside of a forest. It was tough work but it felt good after my largely sedentary week spent working out in CO. Speaking of CO I'll throw up a pic of the Romulan I got while I was out there, really nice bud but the high was way too cerebral for my tastes but the come down was at least somewhat conducive to sleep so I can't complain. That said it made me miss my Bluestone nugs all the more. Well, I've definitely rambled long enough to forget if I've posted everything I'd meant to so I'm going to end it for now. Below is the tent as of 20 minutes ago, a pic of the blackstone I'm curing up, and the Romulan from my trip. :peace:

edit: Forgot to mention, the Blackstone came out to 32.9 grams dried. Not a bad haul, and the meds are bonkers good!!

Yeah man, I don't know how you update as often as you do, I just feel like either I'm working, doing stuff for/with the family or I'm too baked to do updates, lol!!! That's the worst, especially when trying to get fresh data for a smoke report, and then you're too gonzo to do the report!! :help:

The Blackstone is super pretty, when I grind it up to vape it looks awesome because the purple is actually easier to spot ground up. Meds wise it knocks me out cold so I have a reliable sleep med now!! Never heard of Golden Goat before just looking it up. I found the Romulan a little uncomfortable to be honest, the older I get the less I enjoy that nearly psychedelic up high. In fact I'm not all that into CB1 receptor agonists and I'm probably going to start working my way toward 1:1 THC:CBD strains. Still, maybe being up in a mountain river in CO would lend itself well to something up. I'm thinking a nice haze on a hike might actually be a helpful motivator :tiphat:

Hey all, it's been a couple of weeks since I updated anything so I figured I'd just do a quick update to keep track of where I'm at. I've got a Moonstone in the front left at 42 days, the three Blurp(Blueberry X GDP) in the back row around 38 days, and and in the right front a Cheese Candy Auto(Caramelo X Cheese) at 30 days. The three blurp are going to veg another 2-4 weeks depending on how much bigger I want/can stand them to get, and then I'm going to switch my entire tent over to 12/12(currently at 18/6) I'm hoping I can let them go all 4 weeks so I can get the Moonstone finished(or close to it) before switching over the lights.

The structure of the Cheese Candy is surprisingly squat for her genetics but then the smart pot she's in is a 2 gallon so maybe that's contributing. I've been doing a tea every 2 or so weeks in the grow of all three strains and other than that just watering with plenty of RO. To tell the truth I've probably done a lot less with them than I should but my work life has been really crazy, and short of them having a very obvious issue I'm reluctant to do much. So far no obvious issues have popped up in either of the last two grows so it looks like I might have gotten my soil/teas dialed in well enough to keep them alive and giving me good medicine.

I've been smoking on some of that Bluestone for relaxation/relief when I get home from work, and then later in the night I switch to the Blackstone ccombined with some bluestone trim/blackstone trim cookies. I haven't had any issues getting to sleep for quite some time :Woozy..?:So anyway, that's what I have going on. Oh, I picked up a Kind Ash Cache, and LOVE it!!! That and my RAW tray are two of the best canna related purchases I've ever made. Yeah, so that's seriously all the canna related news in my life. Hope you're all doing well and staying medicated! :peace:
