Or another grape of some sort. If that is the case then you can definitely carry 3 grape strains and I think they would all sell all the time. Just my opinion though

Mitch I'm all about new strains, but what about keeping them as freebies for now and again or making them available sometimes maybe for a special occasion. This way you don't need to keep them instock all the time. Hate to see something go extinct if it doesn't have to. Where would we be as a society if the mighty Dodo were still here? So I say do not cast these cornerstone strains out into oblivion, but allow them to remain thoroughbreds in your stable! If you prick us do we not bleed? For it is these strains that we stand upon a solid foundation to build a better tomorrow... Or do whatever you think is best, we trust your vision. For real though maybe you could release them every few years over like a weekend. It could be a celebration of Mephisto and strains not regularly available. Like you did over 420 make only them available for that weekend. We could have a poll and vote for x amount of strains to be released, maybe a Mephisto secret selection as 1of them. Thoughts...

I like dabs, and I like grapes soooooo hahahahaha. I unfortunately killed my only double grapes and grape crinkles. Annnnnnnd now they are out of the GC's. Hey I just had an idea. @mephisto , not like yall aren't busy enough but yall should do some kind of email alerts when strains are back in stock. I know yall do the promo's and stuff. But any time like the grape crinkle is back in stock I would love to be the first to know lol so an email to that effect would be awesome

Pure grape crinkle will be back in a flash but we don't have much of it, however there's grape crinkle x sour crack that may be an after illuminautos limited edition pending on how nice it is.

Mitch, sorry if I was a little cranked up yesterday.

Triangle bein dropped got me a little excited.

How is Triangle stock? Will have to look at trying to get some before they're gone. Haven't had time to check the site yet.

I'm doin my first pollen chucking as we speak so maybe I can make a couple beans and keep it around for a bit.. makin regs with males so I guess I'll need to figure out what to cross it to to start unless I want to learn the ways of silver sooner then planned.

That's cool, there seems to be a general consensus.

And I mean, the originals line will still have plenty of choices, and will do probably until most of the favourite originals have been bx'd or bred to something new to work on.

Then I figure over time, the current artisanals will be bumped down to the originals line. As we add in fresh artisanals

And some people also nailed it, its way more fun for me to work and progress new stuff than a straight reproduction.

Although some originals are super fun to re-visit and I think man, I'm an idiot for not growing this strain for some time - like recently with toof decay it's probably been a couple of years since growing it and they're super lovely.
24c also we'll keep around for some time as it's probably the most consistent strain.

The eventual idea - at least for 2018 I'm figuring now will be to have the current originals line available in regs so they're still there for anyone that might miss them, and it also would give people the chance to re-create any of the limited editions they liked that have come and gone but that we won't make again.!

Anyway I guess it's just about keeping a healthy balance, between projects, seeds in demand and what we love doing

Streamlining a company isn't a terrible idea, because the plan isn't to phase them out completely. If it means making the originals available as regs that would be amazing. You'd make 2018 the year of Mephisto. I look forward to whatever's in stock.

If you have a good stock of the seeds you are planning to remove from the catalog, consider creating combo packs, maybe 5 -10 of each strain and offering them at a significant discount as a single menu item in your shop... Mephisto Classics Combo Pack!

Dude, I think we're out of luck. I think if Mitch's mind wasn't mostly made up before this thread, it is now...
And Deep Blue C has the old blues/livers and the old chemdawg in it so it's doomed.
But at least you can hold out hope that there's a new Chem City Blues with the new Chemdawg and Livers in it at some point after those artisinals are released and then Mephisto could cross it with 24 Carat and you'd probably have a Deep Blue C on Steroids.

I'm fooked on the Triangle. Though I do now get that Mitch seems to be saying the discontinued strains will be in the reg seed drop in about a year unless somethin happens. And of course it's been such a key strain for Mephisto that it's in a lot of the crosses that are still available too.
