I am going to use 3/4 FFOF and 1/4 Light Warrior mix. How exactly do I mix the two? I know this is going to come off looking like im the dumbest person on the fn planet, but do I mix them together like a shake from Mcdonalds? LOLOLOLOL or do I just pour one amount in the pot, then the rest of the other soil im using on top of that? Thanks! EVerybody!! Mama said, they my magic legs, mama said they take me anywhere! LOL Damn im such a rookie! PEACE! P.S. If anybody knows of any other mix that uses FFOF, let me know please, I am open for suggestions. P.S.S I just want to stick with FFOF in some way, because I already bought that soil, and have the nutes for it. I am on a budget, and dont want to start with two completely different soils rn. I DONT HAVE THE DOUGH!!!! lol Thanks Again PEACE!!!!

There are many ways to mix soil, man. Not a stupid question.

Personally I'd add 20-30% worm castings and 20% perlite plus 1-2 TBSP of dolomite lime...and a little extra perlite wouldn't hurt even without the castings. ;) Check out the TLO soil recipes thread, I just posted a really easy (and cheap) organic soil recipe...

Back to mixing soil. If doing only a small amount, mixing in the container is an option. Another option is to throw all ingredients in a contractor bag and mix by hand, or just kick/swing it around. :D Rubbermaid etc totes, especially the bigger kinds...I prefer to mix larger amounts on tarps...easily done by lifting the corners and folding the mix over onto itself repeatedly...easier and faster with a partner. ;) Some people like to mix in kiddie pools with a pitchfork or shovel...many, many ways to skin a cat.

What do you think of this mix? I am growing PKA in 3 gallon pots. This is what I thought I would do. First, mix 2 parts fox farm, Second, 1 part light warrior, Third, 1 part perlite, and lastly, add the correct amount of lime as directed on the instructions. What do you think?????

I would mix the perlite and lime to the hot soil and then add some light warrior and perlite to the top few inch :smokebuds:

THANKS For the Advice SI, and piECE!!!! :grat: With all your tips, IMA ABout 2 be a MOTHER FUCKING MONSTER IN THE GAME!!! :eatmydragon: JUST KNOW DAT!!!! Thanks again! PEACE!!!! P.S. Lets all take a moment for a small chronic break

Hey man my last grow I did a mix of light warrior and ocean forest and I got alot of deficiencies.

My current grow i filled my pots 3/4 with ocean forest and put a 1/4 layer of light warrior on top to start the seedlings in and that's worked much better in my opinion

Edit: after about 2 weeks the soil goes down a little so I put a layer of ocean forest on top of the LW

Well, Im adding perlite and dolomite lime to my mix too. SO FUCK DEFICIENCIES!!! This is how I treat my deficiencies :slap: 2 parts fox farm, 1 part light warrior, 1 part perlite, and I am going to add the correct amount of lime as directed on the instructions. I am following Si, and headpiECE on this one. They do Big fn thangs YOU FEEL ME weedom??? IM THAT FN DUDE !! This my next grow right herez :smelly: ITS A PROBLEM!!!!

Just stay on top of your nutes and you should be good. Pick up some Epsom salts (cheap Mg) just in case...set ya back 4 bucks. Also, get a bottle of Blackstrap molasses, maybe a little bottle of Superthrive.

Whatever you do, mix that lime in and let the soil sit someplace room-ish temp for at least a week, preferably two, before adding seedlings.

Next round...worm castings, a cheap organic balanced dry fert, maybe a little Azomite or sumpn'...teas once in a while...BANG! You're organic with a vengeance, and on the cheap...:hot:

I didnt even plan on using nutes for the first 30 days, because my FFOF is so FN hot with nutes as is. I had a bad experience last time using nutes, so I am playing safe this time. I already have some cal/mag+ , just in case I get any deficiencies. I have Molasses, and superthrive as well. I dont really have the time to be waiting for two weeks before I put my seedlings in my soil dude. I am already behind from my last shitty grow. Thanks for your opinions!!!! peace.
