Indoor My caramel cream auto journal

Thanks, I'm having the same problem with a megabud plant and it's my first time trying my hand at autos. I'm not nearly as far along as you were, only at 22 days, but I feel it should have at least started to show by now. Just one thing I've heard is the ruderalis genetics might be weak in some batches of seeds which causes the long veg stage but honestly i don't know and have been trying to figure out an answer.

Some just take a little longer. Autos are pretty solid these days. I'm sure by day 27 or so you will be looking the sexy bits. This thing is a fluke and not a good example of a auto. I have two more seeds from the same pack and I won't hesitate to plant them. Good luck.

Looks F-ckin awesome inn your grow space Romeo

Some will flower later than others depending on genetics
in alot of cases people trying to breed larger auto's will be using the later showing males to prolong the veg as much as possible for larger growth
In the same batch i just transfered i had two males that didn't show till after all the rest including females
were they genetically inferior to a fast showing ?????depends on what you are looking for in the same time frame they took longer to show but the ones that flowered late were larger than the others
hope this helps
the auto gene isn't a light switch even though it is a dom trait all would auto in first generation if it was 100% dom
the truth is there is a gradual increase in the numbers over gens
i have already seen alot of assumptions about genetics when auto's are in question
i have auto's that have 24 hour light and flowered and then w/ an altering schedule it revegged and i breed them from autos
well it showed auto but would most have even known it could have been revegged in most circumstances??? no not usually because they would assume it was an auto
I am waiting to clone them(actually 2 of the batch) out now then when i get a few clones going well i will do some lighting experiments for sensitivity on them individually to see how much it takes for sex

Thanks dude, and as far as trimming the lower stuff I think you should. From everything I've heard it helps it by not wasting the energy on those tiny little buds that won't be worth it in the end.

If I do trim off the lower branches do I need to seal the areas I cut? If I do what should I use?

You don't need to seal anything, but don't remove all of them at once.Take a few off every day or every other day this will keep them from stressing to much.

and only cut branches you can't bend into light somewhere
unless you have plants waiting for the space just let the top mature and cut it off lower the light let the bottoms dense snd frost up have a second harvest
