Well hey if it isn't flowering the way it should, fuck it might as well try! I got 2.5 dry g's off a clone of a purple jem once lol! It was cute little plant, well that's what my wife said! Haha

Welcome mclovin. No thats a sunshine systems grow spot. I would not recommend it. However the kessil you mention is what I'm going to upgrade to soon. Purple spectrum.

I was wondering if a magenta kessil h350 would be enough for a micro grow with 2.5 ft wide and 1.5 ft deep! I have a blackstar 240 flowering that does work in this small space though. I love the blackstar!

Compare the purple to the magenta. They cover the same spectrum but the purple kessil ha more emphasis on the red spectrum but they both have the exact same emphasis on the blue spectrum.

Always been tempted by kessil but the cost for the coverage area always kept me from biting. I''ve got a sunshine grow spot as well definitely supplemental light only.

I'm going to try that growspot on a male plant if I ever get one. It does not get as hot as a cfl. The kessil appeals to me cause no fans. I really hate fan noise.

The kessil h350 deep purple has the blue spectrum as well as the red, and the magenta only has majority red spectrum! The purple has the best of both. I see where your coming from. With autos I guess the deep purple is the best choice as far as veg and flower! I no you know what your saying lol. U just had it backwards! No worries. Deep purple is best choice. But for my 30" x 18" x 36" tent, a kessil h350 should do pretty well for only led! I only use led! No cfl no my no hps! To much heat and we have lots of flyovers around me cause of meth labs! Gotta be stealth son!

Not sure carbon. Couple of oz maybe. Ton of trim.
