New Grower My first grow and the products i'm using!

Well that right there was what i NEEDED to see. That made things simpler for me. In the beginning i was after a quick finish but seeing as how small they are i decided to give them more VEG nutes. I think i got a little too happy when i read giving them more VEG nutes makes them taller, wider, and overall yield more fruits. I gave them half a tab each which equates to 3 weeks of nutes. Hope i didn't over do it. So in about 3 weeks, which will be day 38, i'll be giving them flowering nutes.

P.S. Haha i can dig it man! :smokebuds:

I was wondering when i'd find a timeline like this for autos. Perfect timing  haha. Thanks Muddy. This puts me at ease now.

BTW i just bought a temp/humidity reader as well as carbon filters today. And that weed smell wasn't my plants. They are a buddy's plants i started the same time i started mine. Just some bagseeds. Mine still smell like.....plants :)

This is the humidity(32%) and temp(84F) after about 15 minutes with the door never being closed

This is 90 minutes with the door closed. Humidity(28%) and temp(90F)

To my knowledge the temp is suppose to be somewhere between 75-86F. And humidity level is supposed to be between 40%-70% until week 7 which then should be under 50% (ideally between 20%-40%). My numbers are OFF. The only thing i can think of would be to sit a cup or two of water in the case for the humidity and remove a light bulb(which i don't want to do) for the heat. Any suggestions?

P.S. I wonder if this is the reason my soil dries out FAST and when i say dry i mean it's like blowing the dust off a book lol.

yeah ur gonna want to keep ur temps under 90 degrees farenheit. when its hot like that plants stretch! Especially when the plants are in their flower phase. The result of growing cannabis in a 90 degree or higher room is loose and airy buds; not tight and dense. the looser the bud the lighter the weight. I think is what happens when its hot like that "90plus" is the flowers stretch so that air can get in between the calyxs to keep them from over heating and to sweat out moisture, this is definitely not a trait that us Cannabis farmers are looking for; @ least not me any ways. try and force that hot air out!

Ok well i took the carbon filter off and it pushes more air out that way but then there's going to be the smell. So i put a deodorizer in the box to help keep the smell down as much as possible. I also put two cups of water in there as well. Now, Humidity:33, Temp: 81F.....it changes a little throughout the day but 2 of the last 3 times i've checked it, i've seen those numbers. Humidity could be a little higher but i have no clue as to what else to do to add moister to the air. Would be nice if they made handheld battery operated humidifiers ha.

I've also noticed this? Any help as to why this happened?

The ladies have definitely grown quite a bit sense last Saturday. Bud sites galore and getting taller! :) Idk why but the yellowing of a few bottom leaves are only on the BM. I gave them a slight tug today as they were getting crispy and they came off easily. Still one left but the tip is the only part that is yellow. Gotta admit the Gnomo girl definitely surprised me. Started out slower, smaller, and one of her leaves looked real funny. Now she's budding everywhere and caught up with the BM in height and bud sites. I want to to say she's taller and has more bud sites than the BM. Another thing i noticed was the different places the buds are growing on the girls. Of course i didn't expect them to be the same for obvious reasons but i just think it's cool that's all. Ha

Idk what's going on but the BM doesn't look as lively and vigorous as she once did :/. She's all droopy but she needed water so i watered them both. But the yellowing of the bottom leaves are gettin worse. Going to try to find a ph tester or something today to see if that could be it. The Gnomo is fine though. Just the BM. Anyone want to chime in?
