New Grower My first grow and the products i'm using!

Yes, really. At finger depth you're only measuring the top inch or two of the soil. Chances are the bottom of the pot is still very wet. That's why going by the weight of the pot is more reliable. If the roots are constantly wet it cuts off oxygen to the roots and the plants will suffer.

Yeah i read that but i still didn't catch the "weight of the pot" thing. I get what you're saying overall though.

It's not difficult. Pick the pots up when they are almost dry and note how they feel. Only water them again when they feel like that.

You're plants look fine. I'm not seeing anything there to be worried about. What is your humidity reading?

I fully agree with Muddy's diagnosis & advice. Overwatering is such a common cultivating mistake. These are still seedlings (more or less) and the chances off "damping off" are greatest right now. Tender young roots can't breathe or absorb nutrients from the soil. I removed this HBD from the pot after this happened, and the main stem looked fine, thickening up...and just below the surface, STRANGLED!!! And I truly believe it was from being over watered. Her sister to the left is just fine....same routine for both of them one croaked, the other is blowin'& growin". They are kinda " fragile" at the seedling / sprout state. Relax, breathe...best of luck. Puff, puff, pass
Really? Wow see that's the difficult part about getting info on growing. Now i see why people say you can read all day but the best way to learn is to just go through your own experience. I can't quite remember exactly where i heard this (i wanna say from a reputable youtuber) but he said to stick your finger tip in the soil and if it's dry then water your ladies. So i was going by that. I'll try the once a week method vs the way i've been doing it. I guess it's better to under water them vs over water them right?! Oh and not that i'll have this problem but on Kannabia's website they say over feeding the Gnomo Auto won't harm it at all. So for anyone (especially new growers) that wants to try this strain and worry about over feeding it, according to their website you should be fine.

Honestly a temp/humidity gauge is something i don't have. I've been meaning to look for one but i've been busy with work and school. I could probably find one of those at wal mart or lowes right?

What's the earliest anyone noticed a smell from their autos? I had a friend over and she said it smells like weed lol. And when i get near my closet i smell it too. Definitely getting a carbon filter today. I put up a Citrus Magic odor eliminator as well.
