Way to go alley!!! :clap:

First-time bubble making tips...

1. Do the mixing in one bucket, and pour through in another...I do a 3 bucket minimum

2. Smash up the ice...finer it is, the more evenly it coats surface area of trim and breaks off more trichs...snow makes killer bubble...

3. Mix by hand, not with a paint mixing bit on a drill...some disagree, but IME hash is always lighter, better quality...

4. Keep that water fucking COLD. Don't be afraid to add more ice.

5. Turning bags inside out carefully and stretching them (the screen) taut over the bucket helps...I like a spoon to collect, personally...

6. When pouring the water through, agitate the water in bucket when there's only an inch or two of water left in bucket...trichs sink and are sticky...the bucket will steal a few each time if you let it...I just swirl the bucket clockwise a few times...

7. Run that shit 4 times!!!!

8. If you're making cannabutter, use that hash water to do your boil in! Trust me!


I'm forgetting stuff but I haven't done bubble in a couple years, been running BHO...

I'll just take a little sample of that little no-good pile off to the right...;):crack:

Sub-tip 1. Get a 25 micron pressing screen...after you scrape your sludge, throw that onto pressing screen...now fold a towel around pressing screen and give a good, steady pressure on both sides. Your hash will have formed into a lump...

Let the lump dry 12 hours or so on cardboard (a desklamp, CFL, something placed above can speed this up a bit) and then powder it down and let dry 24 hours...lose less to the cardboard gods that way. ;)

From there you can either leave it as sandy little chunks, or work it by hand into a nice piece of what will resemble Afghani-style "black" hash...

I also toss anything over 110 micron into cooking...the 73 and 45 bags are where the heady shit is with most strains...:2cents:

Isn't it really cool to see how the trichs look like beach sand just sinking and melting into a puddle of water when you were a kid? And see it bubble and froth, and how that froth SMELLS...man, you got me thinking back to my first bubble run...I made a fucking mess!!! :stir::roflcry::roflcry:

Hey Shum! We got tired of people posting their hash results in here as we were just throwing the trimmings away. So we bit the bullet and bought the bags on-line. Some places will definitely over charge you for the exact same product from china. They take it and sew their own tags on it and mark up the price 400%!! Had a grow shop owner clue us in on that. He told us what to look for using a store model that happen to cost $230.00... He was super cool showing us that. So if you want help picking out your hash bags, let me know!! Thanks for the help bro. We were really messed up last night on this hash so I was hardly able to write back to you. I am sure you've been there at one point or another. We actually have a 25 micron screen and it was drying in a single mass for each micron size change. My grow partner was in a hurry and wanted it to dry as quick as possible so he was "finger F*****ing" it. I would have like it if it dried in one solid lump as you suggested. I think the lesson was learned this morning when we had a bunch of tiny chunks. Handy for smoking but I would of rather had some solid chunks. Almost 5gr by the way!! And thanks again for the help!
