Indoor My little grow deal thingy.

Ok, Real Carlos.. I didn't want to flood post.. But ya, this site went down.. I have had several harvests with Short_stuff_auto #1 since.. One of the 19 plants I had going was deep water ponics in a Folgers coffee can.. So ya, 2 ez, 2 cheap, da bomb for personal use..
What would be your average yield from the deep water ponics?

Don't apologize. You're helping the community, so you deserve a thanks.
How often did you have to check ph?

I always have 2 or 3 - 5 gallon buckets on hand. 1 with nuted and ph'ed water and 2 more of fresh ph'ed un-nuted water for what was needed in between feedings. For some reason I like to let both the nuted and un-nuted water sit for a couple of days before using them. I think it helps stabilize the the PH.. I use a simple chemical based testing system to measure the ph.

Thanks, not sure if it's the lighting but are your roots brown?

Roots are brown.. Left them for 3 days and the container was near empty when I came back.. Were brown since that point until harvest. But I don't think there was a lot of harm done evidenced by the final product.

Best Of..

Well I feel the need to do a Best Of post since most of my pictures have been deleted or have been swapped with other peoples pictures.. Very Odd.. But here goes nothing. Hopefully this post will stay put! All of these are Shot_stuff_Autos #1 or the originals. I have done several seed runs some not on purpose. I literally have more than a thousand beans..

These 2 pictures are of when the new 2 meter x 2 meter tent was put up. The lighting includes a 424 watt 8 bulb t5 unit (6500k) and a GrowSystems LED light for no other purpose than to provide red light.

Notice the Folgers can.. I have grown other stuff in deep water ponics systems in the past but wanted to try something smaller. This plant was originally in a PC case for breeding reasons. If you want to see that, please see page one as it is one of few pictures that have survived.

These plants get nothing but Sesni-grow with a little Epson salt and some Pineapple flavored molasses for the final feeding to give the plants a hint of a citrus smell as well as carbs. Yes, it works but it's not like smelling an orange or something.

This picture is just the LED to show the amount of red these plants are getting. I never had any plans to switch over to 2700k since this is a never ending grow process. Seedlings on the right and mature plants on the left closest to the LED. Interesting note here, I have built 2 100 watt single light source LED's at 2 30 watt single bulb LED's that are put away right now. They are to dang hot! Stay clear of LED lights that have these single high wattage bulbs as they get way to hot. I might post a pic of them in action sometime later.

Here is the "table" as it is known later in life. More seedlings on the left more females on the right. Again, this is the process. Never ending.

Here are some of the more notable plants that have been produced thus far.
