Ya, never considered leaf tucking. Fan leaves = stalk growth. Under growth = buds.. Kind of curious as to what other growers think. Wait a min. Herbal1! King of LST!! ok... I tuck under for you!!! I have boobs 2!!!

Hey Alley, I had a type up that made article waaaaay back... can't find it...may be gone.
I tuck the piss out of my big fans with good results. Too me it seems the thing to do. I have also no-stress trimmed the Fan leaves for light penetration. (cut the leaves in half). The plants act like nothing happened in a couple of hours.

logically, you and herbal offer a lot of reason. I will try the tucking method. Sound advice.!!!
I've been tucking my leaves on some autos, on photo's I just constantly defoliate and it does help.
The only auto that I have tried doing defoliation on is the jack herer auto that I am currently growing and I've just done it after vertical stretch was over and it has been doing well. Although it's hard to say what it would have done without defoliation. But plant is very healthy and buds are filling in very nicely now.
I just tucked the hell out of my fan leaves on my new TD grow now last night. I think it is going to help for sure and is about the lowest of LST you can get.

The PineApple Chunk came down, got about 20 seeds that look good. Hopefully the Auto cross with SS#1 works out without to many tries to bring it back to auto.
Made Hash out of her since the buds weren't all that great. This hash will have you on the floor with one hit. Very potent. The larger ball is about the same size as one of those smaller chocolate eggs.

The folgers DWC needed to come out and go into a 5 gallon bucket. I have never seen SS#1 do so well. I bought a 94watt t-5 and am also using 2 64 watt cfl's to light her up. I will have to post pics of her in her new home. She's in the tent where the Pine apple chunk was.

Decided to get off my butt and post a few more pics. The plant that is in the bucket came out of the Folgers can. Hard to believe this is the same strain of Short_Stuff Auto #1 as the rest of them. Doused one little bud with some pollen collected from the largest male. These plants do not even resemble what they once were.
The lights consist of 1 94 watt 2 foot -4 bulb T5 and 2 68watt cfl's for side lighting. 3000K AND 2700K

Busy, busy, busy....people think its easy but one you get past 6-8 plants...it becomes work...lol
With the cross breading, perpetual grow, hash and I am just guessing you work too....keep it up...I love to see the progress
