Need a Diagnosis Please!

and you know now that i realize im using a soiless mix, im staeting to wonder if part of my problem is also that i havent been giving enough nutrients during feeding. i have only been feeding 1/4 strength nutes, since i thought i was groing in soil,lol. i wondering if since my plant is into the flowering stage if perhaps next watering i should increase to half strength since thats suggested nute range for autos. but suppose ill have to wait for things to dry up and see if my 1/4 strength mix helps at all with recovery, im also going to pick up a cheap soil ph meter when i get home. there around 15 bucks or so, it should help better then nothing.

I will come back to answer your questions more thoroughly but don’t bother with the cheap soil pH meters, they’re crap. Spend the $50 on a nice Automatic8. They also sell one on Amazon by another brand but it’s the same meter. It’s accurate and is the recommended soil probe for pH.

As for nutrients you’re probably under feeding but if the pH is locking out it won’t matter what you feed it, they’re not drinking!

i dont suppose you can attach a pic of what the soil meter looks like by change? im in canada so i use amazon.ca which doesnt have as much as the american amzon. and if i can get my ph in range im guessing i should just boost to half strength nutes?

- tip necrosis can be from other things besides overdosing of nutes, "burn",... it's often a co-symptom of several other deficiencies,.... At 1/4 str, you've been underfeeding, and it's showing in the leaves getting tapped out of mobile nutes,.. now it might be progressing to micronutrient defc., many of which are not mobile (can't be translocated within the plant to support newer growth), which starts showing on the newest growth typically,...
Symptoms are mixed, more than one happening,.. paling like that can be from P defc., not the usual symptoms, but necrosis may start happening soon,...some N too (doesn't always hit the bottom most leaves first)...
Promix isn't a true soil, though that blend is more like one than their straight peat line; as mentioned, the in-pot pH should be about 6.0,... Usually straight run-off isn't a good measure of in-pot pH; in coco, where you have 20+% run-off every time to feed, it can be, but not is this medium,... So 6.5 is the final pH before feeding? Those run-off values do offer a hint at least of what's going on in there, and I'd say the pH isn't the issue here, it's long term underfeeding,.... DO NOT flush! That will make matters worse, not better,... you don't have off pH or a salt build-up... ** oops, too late!* ... Ok, get back on feeds ASAP, more of them, try 1/2 str. and ease into it,...
Don't bother with those cheapo pH probes, they suck! Get an Accurate 8 soil pH probe, much better unit... mine has been gold for 3_ years now.. I'm a soil/outdoor grower mainly, and this tool is a must IMO,...

Hey thanks for all the great informative information. Yeah I did already flush plant the other day and refed nutes at 8th strength. I have always been worried about over feeding my plants. So I tend to to go lighter on nutrients. Problem is when I started seeing the tips browning out I assumed I was still over feeding so I backed off the nutes even more. I figured since I was doing a mainline experiment and my plant was quite small due to heavy defol and such I didn't want to feed to much. But I think I'll take the advice when I get home and feed again with half strength mix. Do you think I should just switch to my bloom nutes or continue feeding the veg nutes for a couple more feedings just to give plant some stronger nitrogen and what not first.
