Harvest & Curing need harvest/flushing help

I flush about 1 week to 1.5 weeks before I harvest and like to let the soil dry too before I harvest. I don't let it get too dry though as I take it and let it sit in the dark for at least 24 hours before I harvest some times 48 hours. Its not for trichome production its for terpene production. 48 hours is not enough time to produce trichomes. Your lights burn off a little of the terpenes during the light on cycle and the dark period helps them build before harvest. I don't know how useful it is though as most of the terpenes that are formed during the lights off are light oils and evaporate during the drying process anyways.
