Grow Mediums Need help with how/when to add nutes in res from taproot and in to seedling phase

Not only am I relatively new to growing, but I've never done an autopot grow nor have I used nute products (Remo in this case).

My first grow was in fabric pots and a DIY ammended coco. EWC, composted manure, teas etc.

I just started a couple of seeds in paper towel and will move them right to the coco autopots once we have a tap root in a couple of days.

I'm using 100% coco and the res with Remo nutes.

I realize I won't be using the res until around 3 weeks in, so I'l be hand watering. I get the basics of hand watering and how much to use when the plants are young, but I'm still learning as I go on that part.

When do you start to use nutes with the hand watering? As soon as I put the taproot in the coco and pot? Wait a few days? And half the dose to start with?

When I have grown in coco I have pre-watered the coco with an EC of 0.7 (350ppm) before placing the seedlings/seeds in the pot.
I have always used nutes when I have feed the girls. At day 10-12 im up to 1.0 EC (500ppm)
Im not using Remo nutes but I know there is some guys using them with good results.

My tap water is medium hard and is around 140 ppm and I have soaked my coco bricks with that already. I also ph'd the water to 6.0.

So do I just add some water with grow nutes in it to the already moist coco and measure the runoff of the coco and dial it in to 350 ppm and then I'm good to put the seeds in it?

And go from there and progress up to 500 ppm always measuring runoff ppm? Or do I switch to the Remo nute calculator values and load up my res with their nutes and go with that?

You don't have to measure the runoff of the coco when adding nutrients. Just give a liter or so, so the coco is wet. In the beginning you don't have to water much but once the roots are established it'd very hard to overwater if you have a good quality coco.
Every different kind of nutrients are different and needs to be added at their optimum EC.
I cant say your EC of nutrients will work as my nutrients.
Also, some people dont use nutrients for the first 10 days or so, but that's change from grower to grower.

Jingo is an excellent grower. If I were you I would read and have a look at how he feeding the girls. It could give you a direction where to start.
