Indoor new grow

hi all ive got 3 northern lights and 1 power africa and 1 big bang2 for security reasons ive only been able to do 14/10 from seed its a bit of a **** but its what ive had to deal with. im using multi purpose compost from b&q using 3 gallon buckets for lighting i have a 400watt hps sunblaster bulb with a digital balast lumii, bulbs just under 3ft away from the top of the plant, i know i stunned them in the first few days , never done an auto grow before used to photos, my areas 1sqm and 7ft tall. its day 20 and they only 7inches i know i aint gunna get much but its trial and error. do you think they will get much taller? or am i just panicing? load pics tommorow, all advice appreciated

IMO I'd lower that light to 20-22 inches. I've had my White Widow uder a 600 watt MH set to 24-26. lower the light and give them some time, they'll grow!

They don't look bad, as you told yourself you stunted them at the beginning maybe this is the reason they look like this? I don't know much about dirt...Maybe some one else will help more :Sharing One:

with your problem, i guess you will have to wait a few days to see if they explode, seems to me they will become quiet some bushy bishes otherwise idk rly what to tell you

B&Q compost is shite, i'm sorry to tell you, you will get small, spindly girls

I tried Tesco then B&Q my first two grow and was totally crap.
