New Grower New grower, getting full new kit!

Hi lads ! I´m a new grower(only done one attemt before) and i just moved to sunny costa rica and decided to grow some, i will be growing DP think diffrent, DP blueberry and Barneys Pinapple express.
I wanted to ask you guys for some advice about the kit i should run, i was thinking a Hydro hut silver edition 4x4 with a 600w hps in cooltube, and then what fan ect i need or if 600w is enough.
I want to grow 6 plants at a time 2 of each strain. I will have timer, humid/temp meas, ph tester and i will be growing in soil, which soil i have not figure out yet. I have not bought any of it yet (only seeds) so im open for full suggestions to make this as good of a gro as possible.

not much going on here anyway i ended up getting a hydro hut silver edition 4x6 as they were all sold out, one 600w mh and a 600w hps, a round 4x4 refelector, carbon filter and exhaust fan, and a infan with a silencer, analog timer, got 2 think diffrent, 3 blue berry and 2 pinapple express now germinating, should be fun too see =)

Do you really need to do indoor growth in Costa Rica? Around 70-ish F (about 23 C, right?) year-round would be perfect. Or maybe I misread. Are you doing anything outdoor? Of course, either way I hope you do a journal. I've actually thought of moving down to Costa Rica (though I'm currently leaning more towards Chile). What are cannabis laws like down there?

i dont need to do indoor i could do outdoor, the problem would be the lack of privacy, as they dont really care to much if you smoke here, but growing is not really something they like, and as plants get bigger its very easy to see what plant it is so my best way was just going indoor. And yes it is very warm here, about 20+ year round its about 28 degrees today, if ur interesting in moving down and having a look id gladly show u the local style just PM me =) and yes i will start a journal as i want to do this grow as good as possible and expert help is always good, all seeds are currently germinating so hoping they will be done tonight or either tomorrow morning

i bought Canna Terra soil, he recommended it and said it was already good with nutritions for the first two weeks, got a bunch of nutritions on the side for growth and flowering stages aswell, he had something he said would give flavor to the plants but that dident seem to interesting

okey guys my seeds are almost ready to be planted but i have a problem i can not find Perlite(yeah i never figuerd that be a problem) here in costa rica, do you guys have some suggestions of what i can use instead ? A guy at a local shop here recommended rocks..from a river..i just kinda gave him a weird look

Ha. Rocks from a river. Anyway, I've heard that calcined clay is an acceptable alternative. That's only what I've heard, though, so you may want to wait for a more knowledgeable reply.

So iv been trying to read up what i actually can use as a substitute for perlite, and iv read that coir – the fibrous waste product from the outer shells of coconuts , could work, any opinions on this ?
