Hey everyone, been doing alot of research on the forum so figured i better just go ahead and join. I have a few photo grows under my belt but fixing to start my first auto as soon as my beans arive. Decided to try a micro grow built my self grow cabinet out of a old media cabinet was going to use my 600w hps but that prooved to be way to hot.

So im trying out cfls, air is circulated by 2 120mm pc fans lighting is mixed spectrum 2700k 6500k cfls 8 of them putting out only 13k lumens =/ but hopefully it all works out!

Welcome you will find many friendly folks around here who are pleased to help, HP's are great but as you were able to tell in your situation it runs too hot, hoping it all works out, make sure to keep us updated. Maybe later on you you can buy a led panel like a mars hydro that runs $105 that should cover a micro grow. And don't run as hot. What seeds are you planning to run

The first strain i plan on growing is Advanced Seeds blue diesel cant find my grow journals on this strain i guess i will have to start one.
