Hi there new friends!

I am Shango Los, founder of Shaping Fire and host of the Shaping Fire podcast.

Autoflowers blew my mind last summer and they keep blowing my mind. I first understood the potential of autos when I interviewed Seth Crawford from autoflower producer Oregon CBD on my show. He then hooked me up with a few seeds so I could see how easy autos were. It was astonishing to find a plant that finished well ahead of my regs and was never threatened by the rain that appears in October here in the Pacific Northwest.

Then as I started planning for this summer and I realized that I could do two runs of autos in the same summer. Light dep without the dep! Pop April 1 and harvest July 1. Then pop July 1 and harvest October 1. Mind blown again!

So, I started guiding patients towards autos for their ease of growing and generally started evangelizing feminized autos as being a great solution for patients and casual home growers, especially anyone in tents!

Well, my friend Jeff Lowenfels and I ran into each other in December at Emerald Cup and he said he had a book on autos coming out in October 2019 and it was cinched. I decided to program a whole year of podcasts, videos and events to promote autos nationally.

I've spoken with Autoflower.net's Jordan and will post my local events in Washington and Oregon in their respective regional sections of the forum. And I have great sponsorship opportunities available too that Jordan suggested should be sent directly to the breeders.

I guess the autoflower videos I'm publishing will be posted just as regular threads as they come out.

I have nothing to sell but I definitely am looking to find partners who want to participate in my efforts to make autos more well-known and popular. The upcoming VIMEA meeting on autos with Jeff Lowenfels this week on Vashon Island has several AFN members as sponsors.

In addition, I am looking forward to reading the forums and learning from you kind folks so I can ask better questions of my podcast and event guests on autos. I'm growing them and talking about them but hope to learn much more about their botany from this community.

Thanks for including me in your AFN.

Hi Shango Los and welcome to AFN! I up and decided to grow one day and just lucked on to autoflowers — haha, the joke was on me though, my first girls went 130 days  but this second grow is proceeding as expected  Wishing you lots of success :cooldance:

Any events planned in Michigan? I am in the thumb and there are a load of new growers popping up I also have started guiding the cardholders under my caregiver liscence to growing their own autoflowers even going as far as setting up their grows and donating my own genetics. A well hosted event would go over very well in the thumb and there are some nice venues.
