Mephisto Genetics New packaging designs!

Hey guys,

We're working on some new packaging as we are almost out of the original style ones.. and the company we originally printed them with say that the printing moulds are no use now.. as it's been a little over a year, I'm not a printer, but I didn't realise there was a useby date on those...

Anyway, so if we have to find another printer and start from scratch, we may as well do a little update.

I've changed the logo a little bit, otherwise there's a few options for the reverse of the packs, and just wondered what you guys thought.

I'll also design the packaging for the artisanal line too in the coming days, but haven't started just yet!

The lower one looks better organized to me, but then I may be biased, because I think your pig is possibly the best designed logo (from a cartoonist standpoint) I've ever seen.

I like the second design and as a printer i can confirm printing plates do ware out but after a lot of print runs. Although I've not heard of printing moulds but then it might just be different lingo. Also you might consider digital printing, it might work out cheaper.

The second was the last one I was working on, and I like it too.
I'm always led to believe the opposite, that digital is more expensive,,
By moulds they're cylindrical moulds, one for each colour, I imagine they're machined out with the design on.
I'm no expert at all on the matter, it just seemed a bit fishy to me
