Live Stoner Chat New to growing

NL dont usually smell too too terrible but if you let them amber up about 20 some odd % itll really start to smell extra pungent n sweetly potent. if you have a back yard your doing them in Id space them out if its smaller cuz them down days them smells can linger with a slight breeze outdoors lol

Auto NL again??!! Am I the only member that hasn't grown, or is about to grow, this strain? LOL! I need to get with it! Not sure what the smell is like, but 3 autos outside shouldn't create too much of a stink.

thanks for all the info guys...i have a big back yard so im sure itll be fine but if i start smelling it alot ill space them out also let me say what i have and im sure ya will let me know if i need anything else or if im good. Ok so far i have for soil im using one called black kow its from home depot i heard it was good for what im growing also have 3-5 gallon pots to plant them in and for nutes i bought General Hydroponics MaxiBloom and MaxiGro and the water i use it pure water that i test with my tds tester that i have that reads 0.00 is that good or should i use water from the tap which also has filters but its not zero water like my other filter

Are you adding any perlite to the soil to ensure good drainage? Do you have a soil pH tester? If not, you might wanna consider the CWP A8. Highly recommended on this site. A pH meter to test your feed solutions would be a good idea, too.

no perlite but i guess i can get that from lowes i hope and a ph meter is that to test the soil or water i really dont have that much more to spend on this im running low on funds lol

Perlite is very cheap, just don't get Miracle Grow perlite with fertilizer in it. There's a pH meter for the soil (A8) and for the solution. Honestly, if you have to choose, I'd get the A8 so you'll be able to keep tabs on the pH of your soil, which is very important.

032247427838.jpgwould this be a good one to use i know i heard alot about not using miracle-gro but since this is just perlite would it be ok

could someone point me to a good ph soil tester good and not that expensive also what about testing the water with nutes in it isnt the ph of the water suppose to be around 6.5 sorry im such a noob lol

is this a good ph soil tester $_12.JPG

Miracle Grow perlite has fertilizer in it, so it will screw up your soil pH when you don't expect it. Trust me. I suffered this mistake during my first grow. No Bueno!! The CWP A8 is the best soil tester, and can be found starting at $50. You do wanna test the pH of your solution, but if you gotta make a choice between meters, I'd go with the soil meter
