I started growing about 20 years ago when I lived in Italy, I set up a hydroponic flood and drain system that I ran for a couple of years with photoperiods and got pretty good at it, I made everything myself as I make stuff for a living, I used street lights, both metal halide and hps, as there were no grow shops there at the time. It all worked well on timers etc.

In 2016 I was in Holland for a couple of days and passing a sensi seed shop I thought I’d get a few seeds for my garden at my old mans house as he’d just gone into a home I had the place to myself.

So I grew these 3 super skunk autos planted end of April. I’d never seen autos before that and strangely I’d forgotten nearly everything I’d learned 20 years ago so it was a steep learning curve again! Anyway all 3 grew exactly the same in the conservatory on the side of the house , they grew really nicely just on their own with some seaweed and some guano, about 300 grams of nice bud!

Last year I got a little 4’x2’ tent and a couple of mars hydro 300s and grew 3 power plant autos. I manage to burn them by stupidly putting some blood fish and bone meal in the bottom but they got over it although they only grew about 2 feet tall I still got another 300 grams of really nice tight buds.

Then! I decided to get a couple more mars 300s and grew 4 DP think different, got it right with those but no huge harvest as I had to cut early as I had to go away. Still got nearly 500gs though even if they were a bit immature.

Mid Jan this year I got some DP daiquiri lime and some sensi seeds power plant again plus 3 auto ultimate, yes looking for those huge yields! So this time I’m trying coco for the first time.

I’m using 17 litre smart pots with rehydrated bricks of coco with about 30% perlite, Advanced Nutrients sensi bloom coco, big bud, b52 , bud candy and some calmag.

I sprouted 2 DP DLs a power plant ( both autos) around 1-2-3 Feb and one DP auto ultimate a week later I have some pics I can post later but here are a couple of phone pics.

I’d be interested to know what you think about the DL on the left it is a weird very sativa (or even ruderalis?) phenotype compared to the one on the right behind ( power plant front right) she grew fairly normal indica fat leaves then slowly turned and stretched into this she’s 3 “ shy of 4 feet tall! All 3 have branched like I’ve never seen but this one is weird, so tall and spindly and those super skinny leaves!
Anyone any ideas how she might turn out? I pretty amazed with how they grow in coco though it’s really something else! Sorry for grow light pics! And I need to get the hang of posting!

On that pheno, I think your right the Sativa is strong with that one..

Hi guys thanks for the warm welcome! I’ve been kind of keeping my secret spare bedroom a secret from all but one of my friends for now so it’s good to be able to talk about it now! Not that any of my friends would cause problems it’s just better they don’t know for now!
Plants are now too big to get them out into natural light so I’ll be rigging up some better light for some pics as they go now.
