How y`all doing?

I've just started my first grow in an attempt to grow 2 Critical Autoflowers and hopefully harvest. My setup is in an outdoor shed and consists of:

Strain- Critical + Auto Feminized

Tent-60x60x1.4

Medium- Plant magic soil supreme

Pots- 11L

Lighting- 125w CFL-blue for vegetation

200w CFL-red for flowering

Side lights- 2x35w CFL Spiral

Fan/Extraction-100mm systemair RVK sileo 100E2

Carbon Filter- 100mm Rhino hobby filter 300mm long

Small clip on fan 100mm 2 speed

Nuets- General Hydroponic Flora series.

Floragro, Floramicro and Florabloom

Well. I've made it into week 2 with my babies and so far so good. They don't seem to have run into any problems as yet. Or none I can see but only a newbie grower. Growth seems to coming along nicely and pots are starting to dry out now so started just a small watering of 100ml of plain water which has been stood for 24 hrs and had its ph adjusted to 6.1 the same as the initial pot watering before the seedlings went in. Temperatures seem to be running nicely at between 70 and 77. Nightly they have been slightly lower. Still running light cycle at 24hrs as I will continue throughout the Veg phase. Also have good air circulation running both small 4" clip fan at bottom of tent running continuously along with 4" inline extraction fan and carbon filter with variable controller in top of tent also running on a slightly higher than min speed continuously. All in happy with progress.

Please feel free to come back to me with any thoughts or advice.

Hey dude, I'm subbed

Unless you live in a tropical climate I really feel for you trying to grow in a shed, it's bound to get difficult as far as managing temperatures.

Do you have plans down the road to maybe upgrade your set up a little bit perhaps more light?

Anyway if I have one piece of advice for new Growers it is make changes very slowly and be very careful with how much water you give your new seedlings. Oh Shit, Stoner brain those were two things [emoji23][emoji44]

Anyway welcome aboard I'm going to follow your grow if you have any questions just tag me

By the way find your way over to the live introduction section do a quick introduction with a link to your grow log.

You can also find your way into live Stoners and just start chatting people up and and put a link up in there and it'll drive more people to your journal and you'll get a lot more help.

Hey Jingo.

Thanks for subbing to me its appreciated. It has been a challenge working from a shed here in the UK especially as its only just turning to spring and the weather is very unpredictable and unstable. But ill be doing my best. I will eventually start upgrading my equiptment once i get a better understanding of things thats for sure.

As for any changes ill definetly take on board what you say and learn from it. Just posted in Live stoners with a link so lets see how things go.

Peace.

Quite a few UK Growers here most of them I think are growing in lofts. But, I have seen a few guys have success in sheds in the UK so this time of year is a good time to be learning.

A UK grower to check out is slater he grows in a loft but he's had some unique ways of dealing with the temperature fluctuations..
