Hi all.

Back to growing after a 15 year break.

Lot of new stuff about tents, cfl's, bubble ponics and decent autos.

So I'm gonna try all the above eventually, but to start got a tent , clf and some white label super skunk (grown super skunk years ago).

Started 5 outside as the seeds arrived before I got the tent etc. Put into the tent at about 3-4 weeks and they are now about a month into flowering.

I will attempt to attach some pics.

Thanks guys.

First time I've grown autos and I'm impressed! They grow so quick! I'm sure if I turned the fans off you could hear them stretch!

Anybody grown white label seeds before? I had a lousy germination rate on the seeds.

When I used to grow photoperiod strains, I'd simply drop the seeds into a jiffy cube and would get 100% success, these would only germinate on tissue paper. I went to sensi seeds as I trust their stock. Is this something to do with autos or have I just been lucky in the past?

Thanks.

Hello my Cockney Sparra,

It is you isn't it ?

I have not grown that strain. But I must say I have grown tons of Auto's and have a 99.8% germ rate using the paper towel method. Don't asume they are all poor to germ. Welcome pal, eP.

Hi epenguin

Nah, not Cockney Sparra.

No, the 5 I did on kitchen paper all took. My old method was, 24 hr presoak in water, then drop into a jiffy pellet. None out of 5 took using that method, which worked fine for me in the past.

I just noticed you've done an outdoor uk grow, I'll be having a look at that (if i can negotiate my way there, bought a sublimator the other week and have issues with functioning for some reason!)With the seemingly blind eye approach to personal grows here being muted I may have a go at a garden grow.

Just for the record , I'm technically not a Cockney as I was born out of earshot of Bow Bells. But am cursed with a touch of the cor blimeys.

Good reply chum. I will no longer assume your are a Pearly King. Please do look up my outdoor grow. If I say so myself, it was a helluva ride. And not a happy ending ! But it does show what is possible. Just click on the blue link below and it will take you there.

I know what sublimation is. But not what a sublimator is ? cheers pal. eP.

No problems mate, for the sake of a postcode I'm happy to be called a Cockney.

. This bad boy is a sublimator, it's basically a vaporiser that does the job properly. It claims to sublimate rather than vaporise, they hold some sort of patent for 'bio gasification '.

It certainly seems a LOT different to vaporisation. Smoother and stronger. It vaporises at a similar speed to burning. (No, I'm not selling them!) Check it on youtube.
