My very first grow, very nervous, to the point of hypervigilance(I know that doesn't help!!!) I have a 4x4x6.5 tent(in a spare bedroom), air-cooled 600w lighting system, with a ballast(dimmer that can be adjusted to 250w 400w & 600w, and bc its in a private residence, a carbon filter/w 6" inline fan. I have the fan blowing air through the light(in an effort to minimize the heat/temps), the room is air-conditioned. I received some Freebies frm Attitude Seed Bank(feminzed photo-period) and planted them several days after. All of 'em have sprouted...:yay:Before the autos reach the point of flowering, I plan to have another tent/lighting system in place. Right now I have them under the light 24hrs @ 2' away from the light... :help: Planted 'em in FFOF and sprayed 'em with RO water. Other than that guys, I'm learning, experimenting, with the hopes of having a successful crop within the next couple of months. A:jump:nxiety, PTSD, and debilitating arthritis, and NOT the least bit interested in taking the pharmaceuticals pushed by psych's and PCP's:rolleyes1:... At the end of the day, I simply can not afford to continue spending the money :wall:that has been spent for the ONLY remedy for what ails me :meds:

I decided to introduce myself after a week of lurking  not knowing if I could trust that this wasn't a sting operation:rofl: After reading through countless threads and journals, I am confident that I am in the right place:woohoo:

Welcome NoMO! Sounds like a great setup! Dont worry about the poll. We have a great site, with lots of information and people to help! Need anything, let me know. My only concern for your gear is the FFOF. It tends to come with a low ph out of the bag and drops off about mid grow into the mid 5's. I would look at getting some dolomite lime and an accurate 8 soil probe and take the guesswork out of the equation and never have to worry about ph again! Dolomite lime will help bring up the soils ph to a good level. Dolomite takes about 7-10 days to really help, so do keep an eye on things. I water at 6.4 and as the medium dries out, the ph soils ph goes up from 6.4-6.7 making the plant uptake through the whole "sweetspot" range. Good luck on your grow!:d5::pass:
