This is how i have my nft system running !
I bought the pipe& pieces to make the T-junction so just the 1 nft pump feeds two trays at once with a small trickle of running water flowing down each tray as you can see here ! you dont need alot of flow . too much will drown them .

today i have put the big bang auto & auto pink grapefruit ( left tray ) into the flow with the already there big bang and himaylayan orange diesel .
with all the pipes out the way tidys it up an can see from previous post the kind of flow rate going through each nft tray !

Still can't get over the shape of that ogre but it's looking like it's making some real nice bud. 00 does look a nice shape too....she's spread 'em wide for good penetration:drool:

cheers kush ! yes its a mad shape ain it ! its got some branching down near the bottom ! but like a aero dynamic pointy shape at the top ! i will get some nice pics at the end when i bring tray out ! ...nice 1 yes the 00 kush auto has a spidery shape to it an quite a few branches there but im thinking by the looks it may take a while longer to finish up , this cold snap just in may slower the finishing time onit !

Getting set to start some new ones for nft myself.

What's the temp like on the matting where the roots will grow? Worth considering using a shiny layer of insulation to reflect heat and light over the black cover you have?

nice 1 mate ! my root temp i have no control over , its been quite cold of late in the night time temps dropping right down ,
are you still using your water heater and have you noticed a difference having a certain temp res water passing through the roots kush ? the black cover used is the gt 424 correx sheet cut in half an insulation taped it to the tray !
thanx for the advice yes a bright colour around would be better for speading an bouncing the light rays around ! i shall look in to that rebounding element , cheers

Res temps have been just over 20c here so I haven't been using the heater in a res, just to get tap water up to temp before putting it in a res if it hasn't warmed up enough sitting out. Might use it when starting young ones though.

Next up is another new Short Stuff strain as a grow battle with Rifleman and then when the aeroponics is done some of these.....

I've just run RPA twice and ran DDA last year but haven't tried the others yet......current thinking is aero for BSA and soil for DDA and GPA once I've got them going in aero. Cream Caramel Auto should be on it's way soon too

OOOHH !! Thats a rather nice selection there ! nice strain choices ! :smoking:, ive done a few different sweet seeds strains , i like there beans , the bloody skunk ive not grown properly but put in a soil pot in back an was really quick to finish ! ( i only done 1 came as a freebie !) ide like to try the red poison soon looks real biggie you done in your nft ...... the green poison is a nice easy grower and im finding it little simular to fast buds six shooter in flavour with a slightly lemony textured thickness in the inhale ! , ive tryed there caramel auto i wernt fond of that much , there speed + ive one a few times i liked the sweetness it had an jack47 was a nice one ide like to do again ! its all looking sweet your ways good stuff dude !
your getting nice temps , my area probably going down below 5c during night periods some of the winter times !
