i have a blue mystic auto 20 days old, top leaves are clawing down and couple lower leaves have magnesium deficiency. shall i give zero grow nutes with some calmag next feed? the calmag has a tiny bit of nitrogen in but obviously nowhere near as much as grow nutes. thanks.

show some pics..I doubt its nitrogen tox

Pics would gel but that sounds like the Nitrogen Claw. Feed her but without the nitrogen, and increase her calmag. Like you said calmag is 2-0-0 but that's why you should just leave the N out of her base feed. That should hopefully correct things.

Nitrogen toxicity and mag deficiency are normally an issue closer to flower though. It seems a bit early to see clawing unless you have been feeding her pretty hot. Either way, take immediate action so she doesn't get slowed down. Her growth spurt is right around the corner, so you definitely want tenacious a situation where she begins to lock out nitrogen.

took some pics, tried me best to show the clawing but im proper shit with the camera lol. added a pic of all 3 together lol, seedling is bubblelicious, one in the back is green-o-matic & the clawed one at the front is blue mystic lol. theres some droopage it needs watering tomorrowish

Moose, you could also use this as well, if you have them on hand. Pretty much no N, if any:
use 1 tsp molasses and 1/2 tsp ep[som salts per gallon for a watering... give it through leaves(foiliar spray) and soil both.
Obviously doing a foiliar feeding works much faster.

Also their are a few Indy strains that do claw some, but most likely is N toxitiy.

Sending you growing :karma Cloud:

Moose after my post went through, I noticed that you posted pics. I would definitely say that yes you do have some N toxicity going on and not the genetics.

You will get her sorted out just fine.

Peace

Hey!
Had the same issue. Cal mag with a bit of N toxicity. Of course as you discovered too, the juice I bought for cal mag had N in it. Stckman's recipe is a good one. I went out and got CaMg+ just for the fact it had no N in it. It has molasses it, go figure. Well now I know.

i only have plant magic magnecal plus and it has nitrogen in it, 2.55%. im assuming it is too high nitrogen content to feed? only place i can buy nutrients is online and it needs watering tomorrow lol. i dont have any molasses. shall i give just plain water with biosilicon?

Yes, I would give her Zero N for now. The Mag is more in the Epson's Salt than the molasses. You can get Epson's Salt almost anywhere and it is very cheap, and goes along way. I would just add it to your water and biosilicon. I'm not positive on this, but I don't think it is good to foiliar feed with the EPs alone.

Peace
