New Grower nitrogen toxicity same time as magnesium deficiency

im thinking of adding the epsom salts every other feed with all my plants current & future as every grow ive had magnesium deficiency.
IMHO, it would be best to wait until the Mg def shows up like it did this time until you start applying the EP, and cease when it dissipates. If you add throughout your grow, you very well may end up with excess salt build up in your soil. That will give you yet a whole new set of problems.

Please keep us posted.

Sending you growing :karma Cloud:

Got a magnum three week into flower coming on great but the leaves are bleaching off my led will this stop photosynthesis happening much

update: epsom salts worked perfectly, cleared up almost immediately and hardly used any, the pot cost 1.49 and will last decades lol thanks for the help

Sure. It's an old gardeners trick, my Mom used to use it on her tomatos.

I am not an expert, but I thought you had to have actual damage to call it toxic.
The plant is under stress from the N, but I am not seeing burning. I keep upping
nutes (slowly) until I see signs of distress. So IMHO, you are doing great, just go a little easier.
My CalMag doesn't have N, might be something to consider in the future.

Nitrogen Toxicity:

Leaves are often dark green and in the early stages abundant with foliage. If excess is severe, leaves will dry and begin to fall off.

Don't forget that she'll be in flower soon and will prob want more nutes, so keep
an eye out for that.
