Also @Tommy McCain thanks for the confirmation. I will 100% get blumats that will make my life easier read into those but was unsure. I think that will solve my runoff issue as well. Then when I supplement with teas that will help get more humidity to the bottom. The blumats will in my head allow the deeper parts a dry cycle to avoid moisture issues.

So today I found my 8x4 grow bed by geopot picked up 10 sqft of worm castings, sphagnum moss and some lava rock. Still need to source my various rock dusts biochar, neem/karanja cake, kelp meal, ground malted barley powder and worms.

I did supplement 4 cuft of worm castings for some regular potting soil for price and they didnt have any more bags of castings. Stated to have mycorrhizae and bat guano so I figure that would be good in the long run, although it will make my mix hotter at first.
