I havnt noticed much in price difference but Im not sure what software your trying to run. I will pay more for the faster speed. Music, Video, even when its sleeping and I open it the speed is incredible compared to windows plus I havnt had a single virus or anything on this machine it really has been flawless for me. There was one incident where an update killed my audio and I couldnt get it working again, I called apple support and went through their trouble shooting steps and they sent me to an apple store to their "genius bar". Yeah thats in quotes on purpose, the dude told me he was going to install OSX again and work on and come back by to pick it up, when I got there he told me I needed a new board in my computer. I knew this was a driver issue and not hardware so the next morning I was messing around with it and a new update popped up and once I downloaded it my sound was back! So much for finding any genius's at the "Genius Bar"

Ya, pisses me off too Pop. I had a great environment, stuff worked, all was very stable and reliable. Took me 12 months to get geared up on win 7 and server 2008. Still have one app that is critical and won't run on 64 bit or win7... Arghh! And I am just a microcosm. 178 users, 212 computers 12 locations 8 servers. Just the changes to group policy alone... Because the users don't want to see anything different or change, deity forbid something would change!
