Hey Ryknow, thanks for stopping by. The seed vendor says 80 days but I think she'll go at least 90-100. My last grow was a Berry Ryder by the same company that was advertised as 65 days. I grew her out to 90 and seemed she could still go another week or two. I'm in no particular rush so we'll see how this one progresses. I see you're growing a BR right now, I'm gonna head over there and sub it up. Should be an excellent first grow.

Yes, it started turning purple at the end, but just the tips of the top colas. I grow on 24/0 so some people have suggested that might be why. Swampman or whatever his name is these days grew out a gigantic BR a while ago that went very purple. The smoke was awesome, very heady high and got me motivated to do stuff instead of sitting on the couch all day.

Also, I asked the breeder about harvest times. They replied that the advertised 80 days refers to days from when they first show sex, which puts me around day 110 for harvest. That also puts my previous Berry Ryder at around day 95, which is actually when I cut her. Everyone knows these timings aren't exact but I suppose I've been on the fence about total grow times based on a few different explanations.


Day 50 Update - Week 8 - The last 5 days have seem some decent bud growth and development. I'm expecting another week of bud growth before the swelling starts up. Soil PH continues to sit at 6.5 and I've upped the nute dosage to 2/3 strength: 2tsp Big Bloom, 1.3 grow big, 1.3 tiger bloom, .25 beastie bloomz & 1 tso cal/mag. Some leaf tips are just now starting to show some burn so will keep it @ 2/3 for the next week I think. Watering is still every 3-4 days. Next watering will be plain water followed by 1-2 more full range nute feedings for the week.

I'm having an issue with little gnat things so I put up some fly paper. They appear to be coming through my house window screen, and not from my soil so I haven't done anything to the plant yet. Keeping an eye on them for now.

Most of my pics came out pretty crappy this week... gotta look into that a bit more.
You'll notice my canopy is kinda high lol, but it's pretty level. Next time round I'm gonna start earlier & get that main stem to run along the container wall.

Day 56 Update - Week 8 - The last week has seen enormous bud growth and fattening. Watering is still every 3 days which makes it hard to get any cleansing water into the schedule but the plant doesn't seem to be negatively impacted. I've been following the Fox Farm feeding schedule up to now steadily increasing nutes with each watering. Next week phases out Beastie Bloomz and adds in Cha-Ching. I'm thinking of extending Beastie Bloomz for another week as this girl is scheduled to exceed the normal 12 week schedule by another 3-4 weeks. The buds are definitely huge and fat, more so than my last Berry Ryder auto, and much more than any of my outdoor photo's. Without another APw/C to compare to I will have to assume Open Sesame & Beastie Bloomz is playing a part.

In sadder news... I ran out of smoke and had to acquire a bag of some of the worst commercial dry bud I've ever had, for which of course I was well overcharged for and was then asked when I would expect to visit again for more 'dank bud' as the friendly fellow put it.
