i like the lights the plant seems to like it too how much heat do they put out? say if the vent shut off a few hours would the plants bake? the leds I've seen put out about the same heat as the equivalent hps

The light exhaust never get's above 85F with a fan sitting just above it to help circulate the hotter air on the top of the closet. I run a humidifier to also bring UP the temps, but it wastes 200 watts. With the closet door totally closed the temp hasen't gone above 88 with the recent frigid weather in my region. I worry more about keeping her warm lol, thus the styrofoam base that she's sitting on.

The turntable continues to rotate clockwise 24/7. I really like it, though can't say the plant benefits any. You can turn the plant manually with it turned off which is really useful for watering, LST and taking pictures. I'm still trying to figure out the easiest way to upload a video of her turning away.

TY Guerrilla, I may have gotten a bit carried away but it's been a pesky start and now she knows to behave or else it gets the hose again.

I was gonna wait a full 5 days to post pics, but she went dry in 2 days and then shot up last night.

So 3 days from last set of pics, branches are thickening and growing and reaching up as fast as they can:








Also, here is some catnip from seed about the same day in the same soil. Pretty hefty for ~30 days

Yes actually, i've had to move her about a bit as the closet is 2 ft deep and a few leaves are rubbing the rear wall and getting f'ed up a bit. I'll just pull the stems back towards the middle of the pot if they continue like that i think.

Day 35 Update

She's shooting upwards now, the branch canopy is around 11" high with the light about 14" away. Her diameter is 2.5ft which means she's bending a few leaves against the walls as she turns. I'm feeding a gallon of water every other day now, I could have packed in a bit more soil it seems, so now noted for next grow. Temp's are 75-80 in the middle of the plant, and have just moved my fan into a more direct position over the right side of the plant. As the plant rotates each branch will get a spurt of wind for around 1/4 rotation or about 10 seconds, followed by 3/4 rotation of normal lower speed wind to help stiffen up all the new growth without fear of stress. Almost time to fit the carbon scrubber
