Day 55

Looks like keeping the LED light 7 to 9 inches away from the colas is causing some leaf burn now. So I raised the distance to 16 inches away now. Otherwise she's looking good and bushy.

Watering is still a pain in the ass, 9.5pH was running off @ 6.5 last week but is back to 5.9 this week. As Swampman suggested I'm increasing nutes but doing so gradually.

Some of the outer colas are brushing up against the walls as she turns. Since she's rotating I'm a bit limited with LST tie down points, but the buds seem to be trying to point upwards anyway, so think I'll get away with it for now.

The flowers are giving off a nice berry smell this week too. I'm holding off on the carbon scrubber as long as possible just because it's a pain to wire it up and get it flowing right.

Here's some potential light burn:

And some plant pics:

The catnip is flowering too. The cat came along and grabbed this branch in her paw and proceeded to eat the flowers.

 Looking good Nomis ... it may help to throw a rope around her and keep her off the walls ... have you considered trying to shade your cola .... might let you get the light closer to the canopy ... hope the cat doesn't decide she prefers to chew on your flowers ...

What do you mean by shading? Maybe putting a bit of light mesh fabric over the top of the cola or something? I have some thin gauze that might work.

That's the idea .... it needs to breath while cutting down the light ... might be able to hang it from the light or use wires to attach it to the branches ....

Your canopy looks pretty even and the cola only sticks up a little ... nice job of building the infrastructure of that plant ! That said, I wouldn't bother trying to shade the cola unless it really kept you from getting the light close enough ... I would think the way things are going that your light is good down to about 14" and with the plant turning maybe even less ... you look to have plenty of room to work with.

Day 60 Update

The Berry Ryder smells like blueberry pancakes! This is the best flavour description I've read on here, and it's totally true. Was hard to pinpoint at first, definitely berry but with a sort of musty thick aroma of muffins. It's really quite nice to have the house smelling so nice :) I see business potential Berry Ryder air fresheners for sale in Amsterdam & Denver. A lot nicer than those 'vanillaroma' trees i think. Sadly I'll be hooking up the carbon filter later today.

Water & temps have been good this week and there's loads of bud swelling & trich production. I tied back a few branches to keep the pot auto turning. What at first was a slow 2 months has turned quickly into the home stretch, so am concentrating on slamming in the nutes on schedule this week into next. I don't have a P additive such as ChaChing, so Tiger Bloom will have to do.
