This is my first grow, I am growing 2 variants of northern lights 1 is a royal queen the other is a pyramid auto both sourced from herbies.
The royal queen poked her head above ground on the 07/01/2014 the pyramid 10/01/2014. I germinated by the paper towel method, once a 10mm tap root was visable they were planted in to a jiffy pellet for a few days before being placed in there final pots and placed into my DIY groom.
I have made a nood error already by over watering the royal queen, which has brought on a problem with fungus gnats, which im sure is the reason the growth has been stunted but with a bit of luck things will start to improve now.
I am growing in B&Q's seedling compost and growing under 2 CFLS which are both dual spec 1x 200w 1x 125w.
Now im growing on a very tight budget so the extractor was a cheap 1 of fleabay and the carbon filter is a DIY job using a car induction filter i had kicking around in my man cave and some activated carbon from my local pet shop. Took a bit of fabrication but fingers crossed when they flower it'll hold its own against them.
As for nutrients i obtained 500ml of biobizz grow and 500ml of biobizz bloom off of fleabay for 5pound (bloody key for pounds wont work. grrrr) and that included postage
DIY Groom:-30x42x120cm. This box as i have now discovered is to small got over excited when building and didn't wait for CFL's to arrive, going to extend when my baby's are done.

PYRAMID N/L:- This was taken this morning so we can see there is healthy growth happening
ROYAL QUEEN N/L:- this is my poor lil girl, shes had a hard time of it but fingers crossed she'll pull through to yield a kilo or 2 lol
