Hi guys starting my grow diary today, ill be starting with the specs of my grow area today as the germinated seeds have only been in the dirt a day and so havent popped up as seedlings yet.

So my grow area is 70cm high from base to the lights but 90cm high overall. 40cm deep and 80cm wide

Im running 6 CFLs, 3 6400K and 3 2700K aswell as 6 pc fans for intake and extraction, 3 for each :) pics to follow below

Pictures of the grow cabinet, ive tried to make it stealthy and not look out of place in my room :) although it could do with a little more work to make it abit more light proof around the doors

I love the alien light coming from your cabinet!

It looks super bright in there!
Good luck with your grow will be following along!!!

:peace:

Forgot to ask, but i presume these are autos?
My PE grew to over 3 feet tall so you better be into bondage and LST those girls from very early.

Yeah haha the lights are a little bright going to use something like small wood battons on the inside edge to block it out abit, well my pots are only 6inch but i think i will be needing to train them abit if they get too close to the lights, he temps of the box range from 26.5 C in the morning and usually sits around 27.5 C during mid day when it gets a little warmer

I'll follow along with you Dank. Looks like you have a nice start!

Cheers guys appreciate the help, quick question, the seedlinga have been in since yesterday and being so close to the lights i dont want them drying out but i dont want to over water becausd im worrying too much, think the cling film method will be okay this close to the light? Or any other methods you guys know?

Covering the pots with cling wrap will keep humidity up and keep the soil moist for longer, I cover the pots then poke a few holes so they can breath some, after they break the surface you can take it off :thumbs:

Just wrapped them up, leaving the lights running 24/7 until i see seedlings just to keep temps up. Usually drops to 24C when they shut off. Will update when i see seedlings :)

Your gonna want to have some airflow in those. I dont ever put plastic over the top of my pots and im almost at 100% success rate. All you need is patience.
