A 48 hour update. Thanks to the above for the input. This plant's leaf growth has been consistently cupped from the outset. Its growth pattern and hardiness is not what I expected from a NL. I looked on the forum and found one NL from the same breeder with much different characteristics (barring some PH problems)--more in line with what I would expect a NL to look like. This seed bank like many will not share the NL genetics. In fact, they are calling what should be "Northern Lights" "Northern Light" or "NL" etc. I am getting off track but most of us would like to know what the phenos are/genetics.
The plant is growing at a steady pace. I have added lots of water in the area and more air circulation. Temp is down at times to 76 and not above 79. RH has been up as far as 35%. The stablemate is doing fine and the NL shows some flattening out of leaves as shown in the photos (new leaves still come out cupped). As you can see via photos plant is very green = rich N soil. This NL as it was labeled is genetically hyper-sensitive. It has not started any pre-flowering and may take time--who know it may start growing vertically or not flower at all.
DubV--you are right. If your growing conditions are dry one must look at the strains that flourish in drier conditions.
