Keep in mind….you’re growing autoflowers. They’re a different beast than those being tested. They’re finicky, easy to stunt, or induce problems, that the plant won’t have the time to recover from.

Remember, the clock is ticking with autos. Some finish in as little as 50 days. That’s the reason you want to just provide an easy, stable environment.

Also…. Drying the soil excessively will cause any microbial life in your soil to die off.

….and that study does say you’ll experience diminished yields, and it’s not like the cannabinoid levels will increase in any drastic sense. An extra % doesn’t seem worth the wasted time of a yield you’re not happy with.
But, that’s just like, my opinion….

However, having some other issues. EC of 2.2 is too much and a bunch of leaves have died, starting at the tips. so I’m flushing currently with RO water. I’m using auto parts so I can’t flush like normal. How long should I wait before adding nutrients back in?

Im thinkng 1.5 EC?

You don't want to flush coco with straight RO. It's gonna flush all of the calcium out and you're gonna chase it to get it back the rest of the grow it's usually gonna throw off your N to do it. Not great for flowering... You want to flush coco with a lower dose of balanced nutes until the runoff matches the input. It can take gallons more then you think sometimes. Also, drought stress is for photos since you already know (assuming you've grown the mother) exactly when they will finish. Once the coco starts to dry, there isn't any going back with autos
